I’ve learned throughout my journey in the Christian Faith that there is nothing more important than spending time worshipping Jesus and seeking Him. This is one of my current favorite worship songs, hope you guys enjoy!

Grow in Praise by the Color Movement (#cmdevo #Praise)
Read: Psalm 145:2, Acts 12:24
Praise is a very important part in our relationship with God. It’s important to grow in praise through reflecting on His word and encountering God for yourself. We should praise God in the good times, the difficult times and in our day-to-day lives. Psalm 145:2 tells us, “I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever.”
To grow in praise we need to make it part of our everyday routine. Make your first thoughts in the morning about praising God. Doing this will really help you get ready for the day ahead. Try it before you go to sleep at night, praising God for everything that has happened throughout your day. It is important however that we don’t make it just another habit because this is when we stop praising God for the right reasons. Another time is to really get involved during praise and worship at church. You may end up being an encouragement to other people too, but impressing others around you should never be the focus or motivation.
As I mentioned earlier, we have to praise God in the difficult times. “Until God opens the next door, praise him in the hallway.” This is a quote that helped me to realise there will be times when God needs us to wait and be patient, when we feel like things aren’t going to plan. However we shouldn’t get disheartened by this and stop praising him - we just need to trust that his timing is perfect! In the meantime praise him for where you are now and how far he has brought you.
Many people aren’t really sure how to praise, but honestly it is really simple. First of all ask yourself this question: why should I praise God?
For me, I praise him because God is the creator of heaven and earth, of land and sea, of billions of stars that fill the skies and he is also the creator of me. He gave me life and still gives me breath to live every single day - I can’t put it much simpler than that.
Now here are a few ideas using the word ‘praise’ to get you started:
Prayer - God is always pleased to hear from us. Talk to him about your day or things on your mind, thank him for how he has helped you and then ask for wisdom and guidance for any problems you are facing. Prayer is a very powerful thing!
Read - The word of God is one of the most amazing and powerful sources we have in our faith. The bible is a great basis for growing in praise and is also there to guide us in matters that we may face today.
Anoint - Use praise to set yourself apart from others in becoming one of God’s special servants.
Invite - Encourage your friends at church to really get involved with praising God. Also try to invite non-Christians so they can find the love and grace of our heavenly Father for themselves (Read: Acts 12:24 - But the word of the Lord continued to grow and to be multiplied)
Song - I find one of the best ways to praise is through song. Whether this is worship during church, sitting at home or driving in the car. Songs are a brilliant way to express ourselves!
Enjoy - Praising shouldn’t feel like a task. Praise is a way to show God how much we love him - we should enjoy it!
So this week remember to grow in praise! If you have any ideas or ways in which you praise then drop us a message, we’d love to hear from you!

A must read!
We really need to remember to be close to Him every day. After all, it’s like the saying - you don’t have time, you take it for the things that are important to you. :)
Endurance
With Endurance …and let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. (NLT) ( Hebrews 12:1 )
We all get frustrated and lose our drive for perseverance which ultimately affects our race. How is it that we lose our endurance? It’s when we take our eyes off of Christ and start focusing on our own circumstances that we begin to slow down. When it comes to running, the key to keeping up endurance is pacing yourself. Let’s pace ourselves with Christ.

In this we must believe.
Embrace waiting. Wait on God. It is a form of faith and a declaration that there are things that must happen that you do not control.
