and the prince saw,
from his cushioned chambers,Â
past an ornate bed frame, gilded wall trimmings,
oak wood doors and silk beneath his feet,Â
the trusted knight who nightly guarded him
begging by the lightÂ
of a streetlamp.

she was the love i never realized
she was forbidden, a soul i was longing to join but could never be reached
a prize
i could stare at her for hours, listen to her laughter all day
and nothing anyone could say would make it okay that i never got to sing her to sleep
but her heart will never sing for me
our auras never tangle in a mix of brightest blue and deepest red
until the day i am dead i will be filled with regret that i never told her how i feel
she was a vision, a dream
a sight from heaven that could not
seem
real
she was the girl iâd give up everything for
she was an icarus, the brush of her fingers on me sent a thrill down my spine
mi amor
and i knew that she would leave me without knowing that my heart lay with her
my affection never died no matter how hard i tried but my courage said to read it and weep
her heart will never sing for mine
our souls naught intertwine in a burst of coloured sparks and joyous lights
and it might not have been right but i knew that i might come on a little to strong
but she was a vision, a dream
a sight from heaven that could not
seem
real
with every breath she takes she
breathes into the stars the will to shine
and every step makes flowers bloom
her constant air of grace puts
dearest aphrodite skies to shame
and god, i wish that she were mine
she is the love i've finally realised
but she is forbidden, a soul i willl constantly want but am not allowed
to have
i will lose her in the world but in my heart she will never be gone
and i think she is the one but she's the first i've ever wanted and she doesn't want me anyway
she is a vision
a constant dream
a sight from hesven
that could not
seem
real
sheâs a little too easy to love #1
terfs donât interact
why did i see this.

I want to write a Romance.
I want to make the hearts of my readers stop, and then melt. I want my words to tell a not-so-elegant tale of woe and joy and two people innocently falling for each other. I want them to fall slowly, on their tip-toes, and then go running to one another as if theyâd been waiting to do so for their entire lives. I want them both to become enthralled with each otherâs mannerisms- the way she brushes her hair behind her ear or the way he messes up his hair when heâs upset. I want the strong and silent one to watch the other from afar and love them, love them entirely, but not know that love is what theyâre feeling. I want the other one, the softer one, to smile and wave and blush from across the room and send their admirer into a secret frenzy. I want that fairytale without a fairytale ending. I want them to have a real, imperfect, happy, mellow kind of love; the kind that smells like a sunny, green field full of daisies on an 85 degree summer day. I want to verbalize the secret desires of my soul and the souls of the audience with exhilarating adjectives and vibrant depictions of loveâs peaks and pits and everything in between. I want to write a real, rough, gritty depiction of soulmates subconsciously finding each other and realizing that they have found their person.Â
I want to write a Romance.Â
But why is it that the romance inside of my head only works with a man and a woman?Â
Why does a strong and silent female lovingly watching a girl with spring in her hair and stars in her eyes feel wrong to my fingertips?
Why do I feel ashamed to write about a blushy teenage boy falling in love with his best friendâs brother?
But most importantly, why does it feel so right?Â
If you said this was heaven I would not disagree What could be better than holding you close to me like this? I dreamed of it every day since I turned sixteen Lightning strike me if I'm lying you're all that I need
- What Could Be Better , Bright Star
my favorite trope is when something really bad happens to the mild, cheery, more submissive personality character (A) and when they come out alive, the more dominant and temperamental character (B) greets character A with a bunch of anger and yelling, like âHow could you be so damn stupid? I canât believe youâd even put yourself in that position. You could have gotten so hurt, I...â and then character B starts to cry and hugs A so tightly that they can barely breathe and says âIâm so glad youâre okay.â and then A is just so baffled that they stand awkwardly instead of reciprocating the hug

if i ever get pissed off at a family member iâm gonna get like 5 library books and then never return them and then die and have the fees sent to that family member in my will
a lot of the time itâs more enjoyable to watch something thatâs a bit campy a bit gauche a bit cringey a bit low budget where you can tell that the people who made it are passionate about it and enjoying themselves and connecting to the characters than watching something thatâs high budget and ultra-professional but ultimately soulless because itâs pursuing perfectionism over heart and warmth
hello, and welcome to todayâs episode of âiâm trying to figure out whatâs right and wrong in this world of complete relativity and thatâs sending me into a very noticeable downward spiralâ! today we get the pleasure of looking at homosexuality. right? wrong? goes God exist? who kNowS
