what i mean: death note is at least partially a cautionary tale about the dangers of isolating yourself emotionally if not physically and not allowing yourself to connect with anyone on a genuine level. cooperation and honesty is the only way to survive

i feel like everyone voting on these polls is forgetting that the death note can’t kill non-humans. the fruit loops bird would definitely survive, Kira wouldn’t consider him enough of a threat to do a hands-on murder

you’re either implying toucan sam is some sort of bizarre mutated human in the poll universe canon OR that Light would absolutely kill that bird with his bare hands and i’m not sure which is worse
I think the implication is more that the Death's Notes rules probably wouldn't specify "human" in a world where talking toucans were real and commonplace. A mortal is a mortal, after all.
