I don’t know much about the topic, but what I do know for sure (like. Facts I remember fully.) is that one of the oldest ‘clocks’ were those funky sun dial things (if. If I remembered what they’re called) that told time based off of shadows, and those STUPID little mini pockets in jeans used to be for pocket watches.

Another thing I know for certain is that I’m terrified of any clock resembling that one clock from Dhmis but uh. That’s a story for another day

Most modern pocket watches has King Harry VII(i THINK)

Because he was a clock maker! He made multiple beautiful clocks. Hence the hands usually represented beauty and elegance !!!
