( ✖      ` He was already driving the moment he received her reply to his message, and being the law breaker he is, he stole a peek at the screen of his phone to confirm whether or not she's ready. It wasn't a long drive, but picking out a physical present for her took time. Marc really did struggle, considering how he has little to no knowledge about what girls like these days, but he found one that he ought would suit Jaemi. [x]

           It didn't take long for him to arrive at her place. Once he's parked the car, he immediately sent her a message asking her to come down and meet with him. Marc waited outside with the boxed present in hand, with the intentions of surprising her with it. They had agreed on lunch and  a communal party boat, but he didn't mention getting her a gift. What's a birthday without a surprise, anyway?

Marc sees Nate as a younger brother, one who he needs to protect despite his usual treatment towards the male. He knows what he’s been through, being one of the few witnesses to some of his struggles and hardships, so he knows where the line is drawn. Nate’s someone special, someone who Marc finds annoyingly attractive and annoying in general, yet treasures him all in all.

Lowering herself on the bed she let out a sigh. “I forget how warm and uplifting you are.” She twisted her body so she could face the other two. “Hyemi.” She repeated, somehow entering a mini staring contest with the feline. “I had a friend who owned two cats.” Hyemi broke eye contact first, seemingly no longer interested in the game. “They were twins I think. I always looked forward to seeing them when I went to her house.” Reina smiled and scratched a finger under the cat’s chin. “I couldn’t have pets growing up. My dad was allergic to fur, or something, and there was no way I was getting a hairless animal.” She pulled her hand back, looking at Marc. “Still there are some upsides to living alone. Like walking around in my underwear.” She shrugged with a faintly amused smile.

"Thanks, I don't hear that often." He joked, fingers lightly scratching the top of the feline's head, who purred in content with his actions. "Most of my friends are dog lovers. Not that I'm not, but I prefer cats." Marc smiled at her story, piquing his interest. "That sounds fun. For the cats, too. I'm planning on getting another one so Hyemi wouldn't be lonely when I'm out, but it's worrying too... Maybe someday, when I'm not so busy anymore." Scrunching his nose, Marc gently ran his hand down the feline's coat before he rested his hand back on his lap. "You could've had a naked mole rat! That would've been cool. Or scary, I'm not sure since I've only seen the cartoon one." He couldn't help but laugh. "That's one way to see it. Can't say I'm not guilty, it's practically a whole morning routine for me."

[ - Her lips pursed in an exaggerated expression of disgust. Her arms folded as if to defend herself form any repercussions of her actions. Cass’ nose wrinkled just a tad at the male as he rubbed his sore spot, spills of laughter threatening to breach her lips. Who in their right mind would make a request such as his?

       ”I wouldn’t pay tha’ bills even if ya did send em. Do I look like billionaire to ya?”

     ”Besides, you told me to.”

He did tell her to, and he did want to test it out, as odd as that may sound, but the chance of having someone- more over one he's been acquainted with- actually do it didn't strike as a good one. Despite the slight tinge, Marc found himself laughing. What a lunatic he must've appeared as. Then again, it's nothing out of the norm compared to the other things he's done.

seulgi shouldn’t have even asked. what was the point when she knew it was just going to be money coming out of his back pocket (or which ever pocket he shoves stuff into). she shakes her head as she picks up the ₩500 coin from his palm as if it hold all kind of germs around it. she smiles towards the cashier and drop the coin into their hand before holding up her debit card.

"i’ll pay the rest with my debit."

( ✖     ` He watches the nimble fingers pick out the coin he showed, not exactly expecting her to do so. She seemed too serious about it that Marc couldn't help but laugh, unwrapping one of the cough drops on his palm before he popped it in his mouth. With a playful grin, he offers the last candy to her, pocketing the other stuff afterwards.

          ❝ You're honestly fine with that? I have cash in my other jacket, but it's in my locker. If you don't mind waiting, I can still get it? ❞

( ✖     ` Patiently, he waited for the male's response, able to read his hesitation though showed no sign of it. Never had he disliked the idea of being in the upper hand, which is why he seldom takes advantage of it. Following a teasing grin, Marc imitated the other's pout.

((` The fact that he seems to get along with almost everyone, and that they accept him [one way or another] despite the dumb things he do and say. He's just so calming and fun to play. Also, I love how he doesn't care about what people think in a way that he wouldn't change for anyone. He'd just be himself and live the way he wants to. His independence and self-will is my most favorite about this ball of idiocy. ))

(( ` I think it began with the puns that I tend to name my muses [e.g. Hugh Janus] then followed by twin muses I planned with a friend, where they’ll be named Calvin & Klein, but then we didn’t had time to rp back then so it died out early, plus we have different timezones so it didn’t work out so I decided hey, I can be funny by myself so here’s Marc Jacobs. I’m lame I know I’m sorry. ))

((` I don’t think I have one yet? I love all Marc’s interactions with everyone cause they’re just so easy to respond to, almost natural rather than thinking hard on what to write AND I LOVE THAT. I love every scene. But probably, if this muse lives long enough, a canon scene where he either tells someone he loves that he has less than ten years to live, or when his actual death arrives— those would be my favorite DONT EVEN JUDGE it’s just that it’s bound to happen and I’m excited for it to happen. ))

( ✖     ` He gave his companion a side glance, rolling his eyes at the assumption he had for Marc’s small action. He was late to notice that his fly was open, thus his reason for having his hands on his jeans, struggling on pulling the stuck zipper up. His words made him look down at the display in front of him, causing him to laugh.

          ❝ That is not baby Jesus. Just cause the baby has unrealistically long hair, doesn’t mean it’s Jesus. ❞

     He grins, picking up the doll from the lower shelf in the aisle. His fingers brushed the doll’s hair back, maybe with too much force than he intended that he accidentally beheaded the toy. Marc gave the other male a look, pursing his lips while he slowly hid it behind the other toys.

          ❝ …Nothing happened. ❞

“Yes. I might have given you rabies. But in my defense, that’s ridiculous and I didn’t.”

( ✖     ` He continued to rub his upper arm, specifically the spot she bit on. He couldn’t remember the reason behind it, but Marc asked the younger female to do so. If anything, it’s most likely for the thoughts that randomly ignites his curiosity and desire to find an answer, which explains their current situation.

( ✖     ` After checking his phone, Marc gave the girl sitting in front of him a quizzical look. Ever so subtly, he shifted his body to glance around the area for anyone recognizable, familiar to his eyes but he found no sign of any of their mutual acquaintances, thus confusing him further.

          ❝ What? ❞

     The male quickly pursed his lips after realizing his dumb move, and instead, he typed out 'What?' as a reply to her text. It felt weird sending a message to someone who was sitting on the same booth as him, drinking coffee and sharing cakes.
