Hello, in a previous anon, someone had asked what a waffle house index was and I would like to explain. Waffle house is a restaurant in the southern states of the U.S.A that is notorious for opening during mass disasters such as storms, hurricanes, etc. The index measures whether Waffle House is open and how severe the disaster is.
