my butch lesbian professor who is well into her sixties had told me that this was her first real exposure to the concept that a woman could not only be attracted to other women, but be butch while doing it. she said this movie propelled her into her sexuality with a sense of pride and remains a cornerstone of her coming-out journey. in short, representation matters and always has.

Guilty pleasure art, i guess lmao. I drew the way too pretty 13th Doctor! Shes kinda consuming my mind currently. 

I am not great at drawing people, but I thought it was fair I drew something for Dr Who after all these years, and since I finished rewatching all the episodes! 10 is my always fave, so i may have to draw him, but 13 is too pretty for me to handle and I couldn't sit there not drawing her. I didn't plan on doing more than a doodle sketch thing, so this isn't great or very much effort, but once I started drawing her I physically couldn’t stop myself.
