with joe blackmailing them into handing over the farm, forcing robert to frame moira, and all the tension between robron i can totally see vic struggling to handle the pressure and turning herself in. if i didn’t know isabel was going on maternity leave, i’d assume vic would get away with it, but now i’m not so sure. still, sending her to prison feels a bit cruel, especially since it was self-defence. maybe she’ll end up with a suspended sentence for tampering with evidence and lying to the police.

I’m expecting her to hand herself in so it covers her maternity leave, and then her return being some kind of trial (and getting off). I can’t see her leaving peacefully and I don’t think she’ll go on the run either because of Harry she wouldn’t want him living a life like that. I completely agree. That’s what makes so much sense and she gets a not guilty due to the whole situation/self defence. Especially if Robron speak up for her at the trial.

Agree with your whole post about the Ross of it all. I think to add to it, Ross and Rebecca were broken up when she died. Which i think people are forgetting. He even said it himself when he first came back, she only asked him occasionally to look after him still when she couldn’t so it wasn't like he was acting as his actual father (in the lives with, see's him every morning, was actively raising him kind of way).

They were broken up AND were never even married, like yes all father figures are different (and some actual fathers seen their kids on occasions afyer a slplit) and I’m in no way discrediting that but Seb was taken off Ross for a reason after Rebecca died, he wasn’t given to him.

I’ve said it before but if the show really wanted Ross as an actual father to Seb then they could of had him and Rebecca married and had Ross adopt Seb (he’d have fully been allowed to do so) but the show never wrote for it to go that way because they knew Robert was coming back (as in Seb’s father) I keep thinking to myself that Seb must know Ross isn’t his actual father because how else would you explain to a child that young that someone they think of as ‘dad’ can’t be with you after your mum dies and then he doesn’t see you in over two years….Ross also very much said recently that he only has one son (Moses).

While I don’t disagree completely with this. Ross would not have been able to adopt Seb unless Robert had is Parental rights terminated by force/Court order or by consent which never happened. He allowed primary care to Rebecca but that was it. As far as I know he has not lost parental rights. Therefore no adoption would have been possible.

No but that’s what I mean though, if Ross and Rebecca wanted Ross to adopt Seb and Seb wanted it as well then Robert could have very much given his permission because he would have thought he would have been in there forever and probably what was best for Seb BUT neither Ross or Rebecca clearly wanted to do that or they’d have asked him. What I meant was that Ross would have been well within his rights to ask Robert if he could adopt Seb but that was never a thing because the show knows Robert is his dad and he is who Seb will eventually end up seeing as his father.

I know that a lot of people have been unhappy with how quickly kev has been introduced straight after John "left" but I always kind of felt there must be a bigger reason for it timing wise (because let's be honest if the show were really doing it to piss of robron fans like some people seem to believe, then they would have just waited till they were happily settled and engaged to do something like this!). Now we know robron are highly likely to be in the crossover and John too (judging by that poster) I would think it also likely that kev was brought in specifically to tie in with the crossover. I wouldn't even be surprised if John and Kev end up dead at the end of it, it would free both of robron from their marriages and close that chapter for them both and give them a fresh start while also making a big soapy story for the crossover. I'm probably completely wrong though knowing me!.

I think you could be right. It would explain why they got an actor like Chris Coghill in for it.

And what if I said Robert is deliberately playing up to type - talking about the money, about how he’s using Kev too - to divert from just how terrified and not in control he actually is. What if it’s easier for people to think good old 2015 Robert is back than it is for them to know the true extent of what he went through and what he’s still dealing with.

And what if - and this is where the real wishful thinking comes in - what if after the initial anger from Aaron (because he will be rightfully angry and hurt) all it takes is him witnessing one interaction between Robert and Kev, how Robert is afterwards, for Aaron to see right through it all. To see how desperate Robert was, how scared he was and still is. Because Aaron went through it too. He understands what it must have been like. And he knows Robert, he knows him better than anyone. And that’s enough to get Robert to truly open up.

And after that they’re in it together (forever).

This is a fake scene, so don't come for me. I think Aaron is going to be angry because Robert got married to someone besides him. Aaron is going to lash out and say terrible things to Robert. Eventually, they will have a deep heart-to-heart, the truth will come out and Aaron will be super supportive, loving, and protective of Robert.

Well, it was just the first conversation Aaron's actually had about everything, so I didn't expect everything to be said today. I do think it was important that he acknowledged that there were red flags he noticed and ignored in the name of trying to force the relationship to work. Because it never made sense for Aaron, of all people, to just repeatedly turn a blind eye to what was incredibly obvious. I needed to hear that, frankly. It's good to have a general idea about where his head is at the moment. He needed to hear from someone who isn't his mother that none of this is his fault. Obviously, there's a lot we still need to hear from him. But, yes, today was a good first step.
