UP UR BUTT AND AROUND THE CORNER!!!
bruh I’ll probably never post anything about JJK here beyond reposting fanart or smth cause some of yall be insane 😭 the larpers have gotten so bad we’re just calling ANYONE fake now…if I slip up and say anything mildly incorrect about how Hollow Purple works or smth I’m gonna get some people who have never interacted with my posts before a day in their life going “OHHHH FAKE FAKE U DONT GO HERE FAKEEEE” I know y’all’s game. Don’t tangle with the master big boy I’ve played these games before
^^
Main character trios are meant to end up as a polycule and you can’t change my mind
What would you say each main chainsaw man character's main motifs are?
I'm trying to match each character to language flower for merch and I'm curios what's your perspective on the matter
Oh we’re speaking my love language now!!! If u think I misinterpreted ur ask lmk!!
Denji:
For me, Denji is very similar to a vulture—vultures are known to be scavengers who are very adaptable, and are willing to eat their own to survive. While Denji isn’t very book smart, he is very adaptable and resilient. As for motifs in CSM, trees are very big with him, which I interpret as showing Denji’s ability to thrive anywhere, as well as his capability to be happy under even the worst circumstances. I’ve noticed most of Denji’s happiest scenes, when he’s most content, are around trees (I’m reaching bro I’m going CRAAAAZZZYYY). There’s his entire backstory with Pochita, as well as most of his moments with Power, and when he visits Aki’s family grave with Power and Aki. He also has the soul of a crusty lil white dog
Asa/Yoru:
BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS. Of course there is the iconic chicken scene with Asa, but what is even more meaningful, to me, is when during Asa’s battle with Chainsaw Man, she injures himself to avoid hitting a dove. Doves are often used as symbols of peace, so for the literal embodiment of war to hurt herself to avoid hitting it, shows how Asa has been changing her little by little. Even as the fear of war makes her power stronger, this could also represent the longing for peace during war by soldiers and civilians. After all, if Yoru is the embodiment of war, this must include ALL of it, right?
Makima:
CIGARETTES!!!!! I literally love that one scene where right before Denji kills her, Makima is seen sitting in the graveyard smoking, but does it wrong and starts coughing. There are so many theories as to why she does this, but my favorite is that she is trying to imitate humans. Makima says she likes humans in the way people like dogs—they’re interesting and amusing, but she doesn’t see them as intelligent. However, Makima also likely envied people for their ability to get along with others, when she was so lonely because of her ability. So, the smoking was likely an attempt to be more “human like” and thus, be able to build bonds in the same way people can. What’s more, the widespread problem of cigarette addiction symbolizes the amount of love most characters have for Makima, and even those who are suspicious of her, like Reze, can’t help but love her in the end (when Reze gets briefly resurrected during the Makima v. Chainsaw Man fight)
Aki:
Dogs!!!! Aki is very much to me like a dog who is initially standoffish, but warms up to people later on, even if it doesn’t ever truly show it. He’s unflinchingly loyal to Makima, even if he’s never outwardly affectionate to her. For breeds I don’t know specifically, but maybe a basenji, since they are quiet, independent, and intelligent but not eager to please, since Aki is very minimalistic and doesn’t seem to want or need anything material (just going off of his apartment, since it is very bare and he doesn’t even bother to get Denji or Power beds). Basenjis also have very high prey drives, showing Aki’s commitment to hunting the Gun Devil (and just all Devils in general)
Power:
Cats…these are progressively getting less in depth…maybe a Bengal or a Savannah? Like a really feral one lmaooo. Bengals are known to be destructive when bored, and are very hyperactive and high energy in general. Savannahs are a hybrid of domestic cats and wild servals (LIKE HOW POWER IS A DEVIL/HUMAN HYBRID…OHHH IM SO SMART…) and thus are very high energy and hard to manage.
Yoooo thanks for the detailed answer!!!!
Here's what I got so far:
Denji, meaning of the flowers: top right "Help me," top left innocence and simplicity, bottom right renewal, and bottom left stubbornness and survival
Power, meaning of the flowers: Top right: bluntness, top left enthusiasm, bottom right pride and courage, bottom left selfishness and egotism
Makima, The meaning of the flowers: Top right numbing routine, top left"deceitful charms", bottom right immortality, bottom left pride and supreme beauty
Aki, The meaning of the flowers: Top right neatness and humility, top left painful memories, bottom right (should be white) betrayal, bottom left gentleness (tho I'm still deabatkng if I should put a red spider lily to symbolize death instead of the gentleness? What do you think?)
Anyhow, that's my interpretation of the characters, I would love to hear your thoughts and stay tuned till me and @microvibing post the final resultss
YOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥 keep in mind I know jack about flower language BUT I do know that red roses symbolize love and passion, but also the blood of martyrs which feels very Aki to me!! But red spider lilies are definitely really fitting too and also they’re one of my favorite flowers!!
Ooh, I haven't even thought about itttt maybe I should really change the cherry blossom to red rose?? AAAAAA
AYYY UR MERCH GIRL but I’m happy I could help out at all and this was fun to research lol

The "reblog if your account is safe for LGBTQIA+ people, black people, immigrants, etc" posts are good but I think we need a bit more hate in the world, I'll start
Reblog this if your account is NOT safe for racists, homophobes, misogynists, transphobes, biphobes, anti-immigration people, pro-capitalists, TERFs, lesbophobes, aphobes, Trump supporters, bigots, or J.K. Rowling

BRO THIS WHOLE FUCKING CONVO IS FRYING ME I THOUGHT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT SMTH ELSE…
After attacking Iran, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, shutting off humanitarian aid and escalating the dire humanitarian crisis facing Palestinians.
Gaza is under siege, and the price of staples has climbed tremendously. Community kitchens have been forced to close due to lack of supplies, and have been unable to afford to replenish their stocks.
Gaza Soup Kitchen is a grassroots organization that uses money from global donors to feed thousands of people every day. Their most recent campaign was to provide food parcels for Ramadan, and they are going to struggle to keep people fed in the midst of this new, horrifying war.
If you are able to, consider donating money to Gaza Soup Kitchen through their GoFundMe or GiveButter accounts to help stave off hunger in the midst of this chaos.
ok so MILGRAM fans who voted Yuno guilty in any of the trials, why? Maybe this is just my personal beliefs on abortion/miscarriage but I never thought she did anything wrong, so I’m just curious.
sometimes you will see a joke circulate within a fandom and at first it's all fun and games but then the slow and terrible realization starts to seep in that this will become in fact a widely-accepted way to read a specific situation between characters that were subject of said joke and there is nothing you can do about it but to watch the horrors unfold in real time
literally me with Nightwing and the butt jokes like WHAT ARE THE AUTHORS DOING MAKING THEM????
