ok but what if gladion just starts going by leon/leo when he ‘reinvents’ himself….
Hello there, I’m a brand-new blog for a Team Skull grunt OC and I know how quickly these go around so if you wouldn’t mind interactions would you pretty please reblog this?

Coming from two places that were usually cold and then going to a extremely warm place was a bit too much for her. But, it was lovely aside from the heat, Caitlin was actually spacing out until she heard someone call to her and approach.
Blue eyes looked out from underneath the sunhat to see that someone wore a concerned expression. “I am fine… though I wouldn’t mind if I went somewhere with a bit more shade.”
Ah, yes, shade! That was a good idea, she was probably overheating, poor kid. Sitting indoors where it was cool might help her, and so could a glass of water or two. And maybe a cool towel on her head. Passing out from the heat was a terrible thing to have happen, and a lot of tourists tended to underestimate how hot it could get in Alola, so Sidney had more than his share of experience dealing with people suffering from heatstroke.
“Well, uh, you could come sit in my father’s restaurant to cool off for a bit,” Sidney offered, trying to seem as calm as possible to keep this poor, suffering child from panicking. “It should be much cooler in there, and we can get you water no problem. It’s not crowded in there or anything right now, so you can go in there to rest.”

He didn’t really know how to reply; certainly, yes, he was from around here, but he would be a fool to admit he was the prince of the kingdom by which the city surrounded itself in.
“I, um… yes. I’m from around here.” He admitted, perhaps the only truth he would, speaking to this man. “My father runs a small shop some distance from here… I’ve been shopping about for new supplies.” He only hoped that would suffice.
Ah, perfect, a local! Sidney had been hoping to run into someone like this guy, because they provided him with a perfect opportunity. Since his father owned a shop, this kid probably knew quite a bit about the area and its people; he was just the sort of person Sidney needed to encounter. After all, this kid knew everything, and Sidney knew nothing.
“Oh, great!” Sidney said, grinning at the other boy and wrapping an arm around his shoulder. “Y’see, I’m not from here, and uh, I’m more than a little bit lost, y’know? In fact, I have no idea where we are at all. So uh, I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me something. Like, anything. Literally.”

As one of Poni Island’s few ports and successful fishing village, it wasn’t uncommon for people to dock their boats in Seafolk Village. Whenever people did, they usually stopped by Sidney’s father’s restaurant to eat. That was simply the way things worked, and that was how they’d managed to stay afloat, so to speak, even though the villagers themselves rarely ever ate there. Sidney was perfectly alright with that; it meant he got to meet a great many people, each of them interesting in their own way. It was quite wonderful, really.
What was uncommon, however, was for someone so young and handsome to dock a boat there. Sidney couldn’t help himself from staring at the newcomer; he was just so pretty. He’d never seen anyone so perfect in his life. It was as though Arceus himself had hand-crafted this man to look more beautiful than any other human could. Sidney had to say something to him, he just had to. He couldn’t explain why, he just... did.
“Oh, uh, hey!” Sidney called, running over to meet the newcomer and nearly tripping more than once along the way. “W-welcome to Seafolk Village! What’s, um, what’s your n-name?” Oh gosh, Sidney, stay cool, he was just a person, no need to freak out.
❤
If Sidney had known sooner that Gladion didn’t have anywhere to go and was running out of money, he’d have offered to let Gladion stay with them at the restaurant. Maybe then he wouldn’t have ended up in this terrible situation, a member of a no-good gang of thugs, without any real friends. That poor guy didn’t deserve to go through that, especially after he’d rescued that adorable little pokemon he had with him.
And yet, as Sidney looked at Gladion, asleep on Sidney’s couch, he couldn’t help but smile. Gladion looked so serene when he was sleeping, so calm, so adorable. It was as if all those troubles that life had forced on him didn’t exist, as if he were able to live the life of a normal boy. That’s what he deserved, after all. Certainly he didn’t deserve all these awful things. But Sidney couldn’t help himself; he was somehow grateful that these things had happened.
Otherwise, he’d never have met Gladion.
Sneaking over to Gladion’s sleeping form, Sidney brushed aside those blond bangs, gently pressing his lips to Gladion’s forehead. He didn’t quite know what compelled him to do it, but he just felt that Gladion deserved some kind gesture from someone who cared for him, even if he wouldn’t be awake to know it had happened. After all, he’d never had accepted it if he were awake, no matter how much he wanted that kindness. Sidney didn’t know why it was so hard for Gladion to just accept another’s friendship, but he didn’t mind. He loved Gladion all the same.

The second Sidney realized that his beloved Salandit had wandered off, he had flown into a panic. The two of them had similar souls, both equally adventurous, so he knew that Salandit liked to explore. He just wished that he lived in a better place for his little buddy to go exploring; there wasn’t really much to see in the village, and Salandit had already seen every inch of it. It wasn’t out of the question for Salandit to end up much farther away from home than he had intended, with no idea how to get back, and that thought terrified Sidney. Besides, Sidney knew the little lizard wasn’t much of a good swimmer anyway, and it wasn’t exactly unlikely for him to slip on the wet boards and fall into the ocean.
So when this pink-haired man walked over with Salandit at his heels, a wave of relief crashed over Sidney. He rushed over to the man, eyes glowing with excitement, wrapping his hands around Salandit and lifting him into the air. Thank goodness Salandit was alright; Sidney couldn’t even bear the thought of losing his best buddy.
“Salandit!” Sidney exclaimed, smiling from ear to ear. “Aw, thank you so much for finding my little buddy! Gosh, I could just kiss you!” And, in fact, Sidney did precisely that; he very abruptly wrapped an arm around the man, pulling him into a passionate kiss, right on the lips. Alright, maybe he was using this as a bit of an excuse; in truth, he’d always wanted to do something like that. He’d never kissed someone before, after all.
And besides, this man was kind of really pretty.

“What? No, no, I totally caught that, I swear.” Not that he was telling the truth; the majority of what that guy had said had flown right past Sidney. “But, uh, what you’re saying is that... people... uh, don’t normally just go with whoever they want, right? That’s... that isn’t right. What’s wrong with being interested in somebody? I just don’t get it.”
@herotruths
“Wait, do normal people... not like, uh... that? I thought everybody just sorta... y’know, liked everybody. Is that not normal?”
puellapsychicae:
“Oh, you don’t know?”
Though this could be interpreted as rudeness, she didn’t mean anything by it. Didn’t everyone know what a Mimikyu was–and what cutie pies they were?
“Spectre’s a Mimikyu! I think they’re real sweethearts, and super cute, too.”
Spectre gave a purr in response and curled up against his Trainer’s chest. He seemed flattered by her compliment.
“A mimmy-kyoo, huh?” Sidney repeated, sounding out the name very deliberately and carefully. “I don’t think I’ve ever met one of those. I was going to guess he was one of those stuffed animal ghosts. You know, the banners, or whatever they’re called.” Sidney smiled again at the small pokemon, chuckling softly at the way it cuddled up to its trainer. She was right, that little guy really was awfully cute.
“So Spectre, what brings you and your momma out here, anyway?” Sidney cooed to the little pokemon, his voice much higher in pitch than when he spoke to the trainer. “What’re you up to, huh?”
“Uh, at the risk of sounding stupid, what’s a, uh... gay?”
@cattlxya
It wasn’t every day that Sidney saw someone who looked about ready to pass out at any moment, but this girl definitely fit that description. She was terribly pale-- certainly not accustomed to the amount of sun that shone down in Alola-- and quite small and slender. She certainly looked like she might be starving, and her eyes were half-lidded. If someone told Sidney that the girl was sleep walking, he’d certainly believe them. Jeez, he should probably do something to help this kid before she passed out and fell into the ocean.
“Woah, hey there, are you alright?” Sidney called, jogging over to the girl. “You, uh, you don’t look so good. Is there anything I can do for you?”
I could do an actual promo that takes effort but I’m too lazy, so uh, I’d really appreciate if you guys like or reblog this if you’re willing to RP with a Sun/Moon Ace Trainer OC! I’d really appreciate if this thing got spread around, I need more people to follow and interact with.
Everything is still being set up but please reblog/like if you are interested by roleplaying with an Elite Four Shauntal?

It was a very rare occasion that Sidney got the chance to leave Seafolk Village to go explore elsewhere, but his father had insisted that he could handle a couple of days without Sidney. Of course, Sidney was more than happy to go looking around the other islands; in eighteen years of being alive, that was an opportunity he’d never once gotten before, and yet here it was, presented to him for the first time. So, naturally, his first inclination was to go meet the woman he’d heard so much about. Whenever trial-goers came into his restaurant, they immediately compared his father’s cooking to that of a trial captain named Mallow. So, naturally, he had to meet this woman.
And there she was-- or at least, Sidney assumed that was her. The apron, the flower in her hair, the cheerful grin gracing her delicate features; everything about her perfectly fit the descriptions that Sidney had been given. Then again, the last couple of people Sidney had approached had turned out to just be random trainers, so hopefully he’d be right this time.
“Hey, uh, your name wouldn’t happen to be Mallow, would it?” Sidney asked cautiously, approaching her. He didn’t want to put her off by just blurting out that he knew who she was (or, at least, he thought he did), but he needed to make sure his hunch was correct. Besides, he couldn’t think of a good way to introduce himself to her other than this.
