Technically I did this prompt on Ao3 for Aphtober, soo... just pretend this is new....
It was a late Friday afternoon, which would have been fun if Lorelai had not taken Ava to a bar. The Daemos wanted to come, but Ava was horrified at the thought, so she had to leave them at home.
All the Daemos were scattered around the living room, impatiently waiting for Ava to come home.
"Is she coming soon?" Noi asked lying on the floor with the Johnny spirit on his chest, refusing to let him move.
"We don't know Noi. She simply said she would be back in a few hours." Rhys repeated for the hundredth time that hour.
"Maybe she's never coming back." Leif said, sitting on the couch before gasping "What if she was taken!"
That got the attention of Asch, who whipped his head off the kitchen table to look at him, worried. "We should have followed her!" Asch turned to Rhys, waiting for his approval.
"No, Your highness. We don't even know where she went. Besides, she told that 'landlord' to contact her if we tried to leave." Rhys reasoned, rejecting Asch's look of pleading.
"She said she was going to a bar." Pierce stated, holding Mirage in his lap, sitting across from Asch.
"Oh! I saw that on TV! It's a place where humans go to get intoxicated!" Leif said, impressed with himself.
"What!?" Noi suddenly sat up alerted by Leif, causing Johnny to jump off him before resting beside him.
"Enough, Leif. We need not to assume the worst." Rhys said. Ava had put him in charge, knowing how he was used to watching over them.
"I hope she's having fun." Noi sighed, lying back down.

This was the worst. When she agreed to go to the bar with Lorelai, she hoped it would finally mean that she could have a relaxing evening. But no.
They had fun at first, taking some shots and talking about whatever they wanted.
But then some guy who couldn't take no for an answer decided to hit on Lorelai. She was too nice to flat out reject him, so when Ava spoke up and told him to back off, it started a bar fight.
Glasses & punches were thrown, but at in the end, Ava broke his nose and got the whole bar to gang up on him and his friends, eventually getting the guys kicked out.
The bad news was that Ava had taken a few hits herself, and now had a bruise on her stomach, a few small cuts, and was bleeding from her forehead.
The bar staff had offered to bring her to a hospital, but she was worried that her Dads would have seen the hospital charges and freaked out. Besides, his daughter getting into a fight would not look good for his re-elect.
So she declined their offer and asked for an Uber instead. Lorelai refused to leave her side and was pressing cold water on Ava's head the whole ride.
Lorelai stayed with her until they got to her door, where Ava insisted that she would be fine.
"I'm serious, I will be okay."
"Are you sure? We can go to the doctors, it doesn't have to be a hospital." Lorelai said concerned, letting go of the water bottle on Ava's forehead.
Ava placed a hand on Lorelai's shoulder, and smiled to put her at ease.
"I'm sure, and if anything changes, I promise to call you."
Lorelai hugged her cautiously before slowly letting her go and walking away.
Ava sighed. It could be worse. It didnt even hurt....too much.
She put her hand to to door and braced herself.

"Do you think Ava forgot about us?" Noi asked, staring at the ceiling. Rhys sighed, getting tired of answering their questions.
"Please, don't overthink it, Ava just wanted-"
Rhys was cut off by the sound of the front door opening and closing, followed by the faint sound of footsteps.
Noi jumped up, and ran to her, holdinging his arms wide to embrace her, but stopped himself.
"OH MY GODS!" Noi's yell brought the other Daemos to wip their heads in her direction, taken aback by her state.
Noi slowly brought his hands to either side of her cheeks, scared of touching where it hurt. He scanned her face, looking at all her cuts and bruises.
"Ava.....what did they do to you.." Noi said solemnly
"It's fine, I promise it looks worse that it actually is." Ava tried to calm them, realizing how much it startled them.
"Rhys, go bring the medicine box!" Asch yelled, slipping into his authority.
Rhys immediately ran off to the closet , Leif and Pierce gathering around Ava to assess her injuries.
"No, you guys, I'm serious. It will be fine." Ava reassured, but no one listened.
Pierce picked her up and moved her to the couch, where Rhys was emptying the first aid kit. They all sat around her, Noi at her side, holding her hand, Leif was behind her, holding her bangs up so Pierce, Rhys and Asch could look at the big cut on her forehead.
While Asch and Rhys argued on how to properly heal a human, Ava sighed, giving up on trying to fight them.
Pierce sat on her other side looking up and down her body.
"How did this happen? I thought humans were docile." Pierce asked.
"Some guy at the bar was being a jerk and I got into a fight with him." Ava said reluctantly.
"Did you kill him?" Leif said, suddenly intrigued.
"No. It wasn't that bad of a fight." Ava lied, wanting to calm them.
"But he hurt you." Pierce stated.
"Yes.....but, if it's any consolation, I did break his nose!" Ava said cheery, trying to act proud of herself.
"Darn, I would kill to see that!" Leif said, still holding her bangs up.
"He hurt you." Pierce repeated, still stuck on the fact she was injured.
"Yeah well, what goes around com-" Ava was cut off by Rhys adding an ointment to her forehead, she tried not to flinch at the pain.
They watched her expressions as Rhys bandaged her head, going slowly and trying not to press on her head.
"Here, wipe off the blood. It will look better then." Asch suggested, holding a wet towel towards Rhys, who did as he ordered.
"Does that feel better?" Noi asked as he moved closer to her. However, he accidentally touch her bruised side, causing her to put her head down in pain.
"Ava! What's wrong? Did something happen?" Noi asked her rapidly.
Pierce saw how she held her stomach and took deep breaths, trying to keep her composure. He reached over and lifted the end of her sweater, careful to only expose a little bit, revealing the bruise.
Asch and Rhys gasped, Rhys clutching his amulet before looking for more ointment.
The room was uncomfortably silent, but that wasn't possible with Leif around.
"Sooo....Did you get intoxicated?" Leif asked
"What?" Ava was surprised and very confused.
"Leif." Asch deadpanned, scolding him.
"What? Isn't that why humans go to bars?" Leif argued back.
As if on cue, Ava hiccuped, causing her to giggle a little.
"Yes Leif, me and Lorelai got intoxicated."
"See! I knew it!" Leif yelled at Asch
They yelled back and forth, bickering nonsense. As most men did.
As Rhys healed Ava's bruise, Pierce watched her expressions, still feeling gulit for not being able to save her.
"Did you and Lorelai have fun at least?" Noi asked
"Yeah, I actually enjoyed it alot." Ava smiled at the memory.
Once Rhys was finished, he looked Ava straight in her eyes and sighed,
"Please don't ever do that again."
"Relax, it was just in the heat of the moment. It won't happen again." Ava confirmed.
Noi hugged her from the side, careful not to touch her injuries.
"Noi! Don't touch the princess like that!" Asch shouted, causing Ava to hug Noi back in return. When she let go, she realized that Pierce was staring at her forehead.
"I don't think you should go anywhere alone anymore." Pierce suggested.
"Okay, why don't we revisit that later.... or never... and for now, I'll just go to bed" Ava stood and slowly walked away, not wanting them to indulge their schemes anymore.
"Okay! Goodnight Ava!" Noi waved as she closed her doors.
"So....can we take turns watching her sleep?" Leif asked
