this will be my last sw post for a while (rest, i need), but I think it's worth remembering that while Luke is cheerful and bold, he also canonically nearly killed Vader in a blind rage. He canonically viciously snaps at people. He canonically throws things in anger. He canonically is so impatient Yoda nearly dipped. Even in episode 6, which is the basis for a lot of the characterization I see, his calmness comes across an iron control, not necessarily gentleness. I do think a lot of the former is due to immaturity, so gently serene Jedi Luke is a reasonable characterization, but I also think it's worth remembering why Luke grew up so fast, why that iron control has appeared in episode 6, and why he is the furthest thing from careless.

“Give me your name—” she bellows, cheeks burning, “and only your name, serpent!”

At this, he sets his jaw before surging forward in a fluid, gliding motion. Several horses in the stable let out frightened neighs. He leaves no distance between them, till the sheer breadth of him covers her entirety in shadow. He stares down at her haughtily—a look of someone who has lived too long, seen too much.

“Do not shout, child,” he murmurs silkily. A warning. “It’s impolite.”

Just because I’m pedantic, lol, I’ve seen tags saying that I exaggerated the height difference between Anakin and Luke. Going off the heights from Hayden Christensen (6’0.5”) and Mark Hamill (5’7” — Mark lies about his height, btw, he is not 5’9”, hehe), I actually tried to make it as close to reality as I could.
