Last chance to download Animal Crossing Plaza for Wii U!

The software will be available to download from Wii U eShop until December 22nd 2014 and will function fully until December 31st 2014. After this the Animal Crossing Series Community in Miiverse will stop service and no new posts can be made.  Sad news, because I really enjoyed Animal Crossing Plaza. It was so nice to wake up to the music and the sound of the villagers mingling at the plaza. (╯︵╰,)

Apparently this will not affect the Animal Crossing: New Leaf Community which is used when posting to Miiverse directly from ACNL on 3DS.

Nintendo also promised Animal Crossing related news for next year!

Hippeux sent a letter that said:

"I've been trying to describe the essence of Hippeux and have finally arrived at an answer. And I'm sending it to you... Use this to discover the true Hippeux."

Attached to the letter was a new spring skirt. I'm still not sure what this says about the true Hippeux.

Item Duplication in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Use at your own risk!

Possible downsides: Either the host, or visitor, or both can end up getting Resetti. You might also corrupt your save file (no reports of that happening yet). If done with strangers, you can lose your items if things go wrong (the game saves normally and all items end up in the host's town).

"What you do is, drop the items off, then the host ends the game [end session]. As it saves, [the visitor should] turn off the wireless via switch on 3ds. Bam. Duplicated. Cloned."

"I don't know the specific timing. But I think it has to at least do 2 loops before you can clone, or maybe less."
