“At the end of an Atlantic crossing, we were excited to reach New York, and I got up at 6am on September 10, 2001, to snap some pictures from the top deck as we approached Manhattan. The twin towers made a compelling sight, poking out above the clouds. I later wondered what would have happened if the clouds had been there the day after. We were to spend the next six weeks sailing back and forth between New York City and Montreal, but we had to sail out of Boston instead.” (by ABC News)
