They who see this shall get out of their writing rut.
One thing I've noticed recently is that people treat RSVPing for a party or event as a suggestion and not a commitment.
I had a little party today and literally half the people who had RSVPed yes just no-showed without saying anything.
It ended up being a delightful event with some of my favorite people and I had a really good time, but I can't help but feel a bit hurt by my friends who said they would come and just...didn't.
Even beyond my feelings, I had put a LOT of work into preparation, so there was way too much food.
If you say you're going to an event, especially a smaller one, at least tell the host if plans change. Like, no one is forcing you at gunpoint to go to a party, but it's super rude to just ghost your friends and usually significant work has gone into putting together the event.
Also like, part of the reason you RSVP is so the host knows how many people to accommodate for something (i.e how much food to get). By no-showing in advance you are making them waste money, cause they'll be spending it on thing that will go to waste b/c the person they were allotted to didn't show up.
Which is rude as hell.
And the reverse is also why you SHOULD say if you're coming and not show up randomly without warning, if they haven't planned for your attendance there won't be enough stuff for you(like food.
The wanting to know who's coming isn't just, because the want to know. They want to know so they can accommodate the right amount of people.
I’m putting together a cosplay of Sister Imperator’s motorcycle outfit and decided the jacket needed more rizz
Sister’s green dress from KTGG is a costume from 1999’s Bowfinger worn by Christine Baranski playing the character Carol
I’m 98% sure the necklace Sister wears on the motorcycle is a vintage Yves Saint Laurent chain belt.
Who wore it best?

The second monster logo has to be pink so no one thinks that hes gay
Alternative: Glinda and Elphaba live gamer girl ever after 💚🩷
Sister Imperator’s dress is the House of CB Leoni dress in cream.
Hello! I've been using Interview With A Ghoul (motheremeritus.wixsite.com) as a resource building a fansite for Ghost and noticed you were missing the Musik Universe interview with 2 Ghouls in Montreal. Just wanted to let you know I found a copy of it on the Wayback machine a few days ago and my friend re-uploaded it to youtube https://youtu.be/RH8-rFXszp4?si=C4Zn5QHv6RxjKjph
Don't know if you're still maintaining that site or not, but I thought I'd reach out! Also let me know if you have any other missing interviews. Me and some friends have dug up a few more things. Or I'll just send another ask when I get that far on the fansite xD
Hi there!
Awesome, thanks for letting me know about that! I thought it was lost. I'm still maintaining the site every few months, more frequently when Ghost is doing something. I'll add that to it now.
I haven't been on Tumblr in a bit, so I'm just now seeing this. Sorry about that! Good luck on your fansite
No worries! As you can tell, I'm not incredibly active on tumblr these days either.
Thanks for the luck! It's collections/databases like yours that makes it much easier to build ❤️
Ghost History: House of Metal
Announced in November of 2010[1], Ghost returned to Sweden for their 3rd ritual in the country. It was met with much anticipation as their powers of persuasion were only growing with every ritual performed and record sale made.
‘Very very very unexpected booking but oh oh oh so damn welcome one. The band is one of the most hyped bands right now and I usually flinch when this happens, but I've been hooking and sinking into GHOST, even so hard that I spent my "last week's money" this month on the limited (300 copies) Die-Hard vinyl version of the debut "Opus Eponymous". As a fan of early MERCYFUL FATE and other miscellaneous 80's Heavy Metal, I can only say, THANK YOU HOUSE OF METAL!!!” -TK Blashyrkh(via Microsoft Translator)[2]
The room where Ghost performed was packed[3] with old and new converts to the ministry:
“WHAT A FUCKING GIG!!
A fantastic gig by Ghost I think, I have seen them once
before then with Watain at the club but this was horse lengths better!
I photographed in ecstasy and I took about 200-300 pictures, many of which I'm incredibly happy with!”-Demonia (via Microsoft Translator)[4]
“It feels too short, the short playlist makes it go very fast. When they played the last song they left the stage, what happened? I'm dazed, I didn't think I'd like this. They will play on bigger stages in the future, I'm convinced of that! I'm really happy and so are a lot of people. On the bus on the way home, I wax lyrical about it to my partner. I have a hard time falling asleep and I'm just lying there thinking about Ghost's concert. Everything else I saw is secondary!!”-Mats Söderholm (via Microsoft Translator)[5]
“I can start by proclaiming that I own, not just one, but three different vinyl editions of Ghost's debut album "Opus Eponymous" and this if anything should speak for itself as to whether I bought the hype or not. From the first moment I had a very hard time defending myself against the band's wonderful mix of 70s interspersed with classic 80s metal. [...] So did Ghost live up to my expectations this evening?
The answer has to be yes, even if there were a couple of question marks. The opening track "Con Clavi Con Dio" felt like a bit of a minor disaster to my ears, and this mostly due to the far too diligent use of "backtracks". Even though my favorite track on the band's debut is "Elizabeth", surprisingly it was still their hit "Ritual" that went down best with me.” -Tommy Konu (via Google Translate)[6]

One of the things I've learned from reading a nigh infinite amount of reviews about Era 1 is that Papa Emeritus I did not talk to the crowd during rituals except to announce the last song (which was always Ritual with one exception).
This was considered odd enough that people took the time to write about it. Some people liked it. Some people hated it.
During songs with vocals he sweeps around the stage, causing the copious amounts of fog they used to swirl around.
During Genesis, he stands stock still next to the drums and stares at the audience.
One time someone threw a Sinterklass doll on stage (which bears more than a passing resemblance to Papa Emeritus I) and he cradles it for a bit before giving it to a child in the front row.
Anyway. I don't know what to do with this information but I wanted to talk about it.
Ghost History: Helsinki Metal Meeting/Finnish Metal Expo
One of the last guests confirmed in the line up, Ghost brought their ministry to the Helsinki Metal Meeting[1]. Attendees of the festival were blessed with the live debut of Satan Prayer and Stand by Him.[2]
“Onstage, the Satanic Pope/priest stands amongst ski-masked musicos in black hooded Inquisition robes. The stage is filled with smoke, including the main figures church relic. As a black mass, the visuals are an important part of the whole show, comprised of a virtual straight play-through of their Opus Eponymous. Not sure how long it will last in the digital age, but the mystique is something odd for most these days.” -Mark Gromen[3]
