Love the framing device for the save function in persona 5 because like. The guy I'm staying with asked me to record my whereabouts because he's supposed to report on me to social services or whatever. And I guess I'm gonna hand him a journal full of descriptions of being trapped in dream prisons and heart palaces. "Tuesday 27th spent the night in my internal prison guillotining fragments of my soul to fuse them into stronger ones. One of the child guards was mean to me and the other one was nice but that's normal for them." Yeah this will absolutely help me get off probation.

for those like me who cannot install alternative android forks on their phone because the phone in question is thoroughly unrootable, I would recommend downloading anyapk on your phone while you still can. In their own words:
anyapk is a lightweight Android application installer that bypasses Google's developer verification requirements by using local ADB (Android Debug Bridge) connections. Smoothly install any APK file on your device without restrictions, gatekeepers, or corporate approval.
If you're reading this after Google's lockdown date and are unable to install anyapk the regular way, there is a method outlined on the github linked above which tells you how to install anyapk on your phone by plugging it into a computer with ADB installed on it. Once you have anyapk on your phone, you will not have to do that ever again (unless you delete anyapk off your phone)

Klavier, learning what being a Gavin truly means through the years.

Being a Gavin is learning to aspire to perfection.
Kristoph steps down from the stage, looking proud at his end-of-year performance. Klavier only wants to tell him how cool he looked on stage, but their parents are not impressed, as usual.
âWhat happened at the end, Kristoph?â their father says the moment heâs within earshot.
Kristoph seems taken aback by this. âWhy, whatâs wrongâŠ?â
âCome on, honey, we know you can do better than you did up there.â Their mother sighs. âWhat was that poor attempt at a glissando?â
Any happiness Kristoph had been showing is gone in a second.
Klavier huffs. He doesnât remember the last time their parents praised either of them. Do they even care about them, or just their achievements?
âI thought you looked pretty coolâŠâ he says, in hopes that it will cheer Kristoph up.
âYou donât have to lie to make me feel better, you know.â He smiles sadly, ruffling Klavierâs hair. âTheyâre right, I could have done better.â
Klavier protests, trying to change his brotherâs mind a few times, but Kristoph rejects all his praises while fighting back tears.
Because apparently, perfection is the only thing that will make you worthy of love.
Being a Gavin is learning to adapt.
Itâs been almost two months since Kristoph had to get surgery in his hand. The doctors said his chances at fully recovering were low, so he has decided to switch his career aspirations towards becoming a lawyer, instead of a violinist.
Heâs sitting beside Klavier in the living room, taking notes from his new law books in silence while Klavier does his homework. All of a sudden, Kristoph lets go of the pen and holds his hand with a pained expression. The cast was removed two weeks ago, but Klavier can still see a dark scar from the surgery.
His brother begrudgingly switches the pen to his other hand and starts writing again, inhaling and exhaling slowly. His eye twitches slightly, but Klavier has no idea if itâs out of frustration or pain â or maybe both.
âDonât worry about me,â Kristoph tells him. âIâll be fine.â
Klavier doesnât say anything. He doubts he can find a way to ease the pain in Kristophâs heart.
Because in this world, learning to adapt is a need, when all you have spent your whole life building can come crumbling down in the span of a second.
Being a Gavin is learning to let go.
Klavier stands in front of the thirteenth confinement cell in the local prison, holding onto the bars for support.
âWas it worth it, Kristoph?â He gulps, fighting back the tears that are threatening to spill out any second from now. âWas your pride really worth twoâ no, three lives?â
Kristoph stares at him in silence from his chair inside the cell. He doesnât seem to care about the fact that heâs murdered two people and attempted to get a third one poisoned. But he doesnât seem happy, either. Klavier wonders if he has just grown numb to everything at this point.
âMy reputation as a defense attorney was all I had,â he says in the end. âYouâre a celebrity, you should understand my reasoning.â
âNothing will ever justify what you did.â
âI know. Just donât make the same mistakes I made, alright?â
âYou donât need to tell me.â
Slowly, Klavier lets go of the iron bars separating Kristoph from the rest of the world and leaves.
Because in the end, learning when to let go of the teachings that no longer serve you is the only way forward towards a better future.
