Why don't you have any trans ocs?

Never felt inspired to write a trans story that was wholly my own. The few times I've written trans characters at all, they're post transition and it never comes up.

I've always found it odd that people think I should have trans OCs just because I'm trans myself, because outside of Comic!CD I've rarely ever made a trans person who is supposed to be a mirror of myself.

And Comic!CD isn't trans either.

It's just never been an interesting subject to me. To me, transitioning was something I had to do for the sake of my health and wellbeing. It was necessary, the process itself is not something I find enjoyable to talk about. It's like talking about my last dental appointment.

There's a lot of trans women who love the trans part of being trans. They view transitioning as like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, and that it's a unique and profound experience in its own right.

Then there are trans women who resent the fact that they weren't born cis women, and transitioning is a painful, exhausting process to fix a mess that fate created.

I am firmly in the latter category.
