I donāt think this is true 100% of the time but it does seem like a good portion the time.
gets out for the first time in 800 years to fight a dragon in slippers lmao true king āØ
I was super confused about someone saying a specific page in the new chapter was "bad paneling" because it was actually very easy to follow & understand imo....
but then their example of "good paneling" was a page from JJK which was only 3 HUGE drawings + 2 speech bubbles with short sentences. Phrases even.
lol. lmao even.
People just don't know how to read manga anymore huh? Like they literally do not know which direction to read the pages huh?
We need to bring these back omg. Pass them out like pamphlets.
The page which was "bad paneling" btw
Their second example of "bad paneling" š. Busy, but not in any means "difficult" to read. At least, not imo.
I made notes just so they could see how neither are really all that hard to follow & they got mad LOL
(granted the 1st one should've been labeled with 9 instead of 8 but lbr the point was made.)
HELLO NEW QUEEN
I get it Brook. I get it. I get it. I understand.
Leuven Personifies Face Of A Thug
Looks like he could be the long lost relative of Blackbeard but seems to really be a good man.
If Sanji & Zoro are foils who often react to things opposite, it then makes total sense to assume if Sanji has no issues flirting with & being around women while attempting romance/sexual interaction
That Zoro, on the other hand, is very awkward & uncomfortable with women in a romantic/sexual sense
and this actually makes Zoro's interactions with Hiyroi in Wano 10xs funnier imo
Especially since it seems Oda might be paralleling his reaction to her with Rayleigh's reaction to Shakky in the God Valley flahsbacks
Because does this mean Zoro actually kind of liked Hiyori, but was so incredibly inept at talking to women that he came off rude & dismissive?
@ Oda is Zoro a canonical shy boy? Was Hiyori making him nervous!? šāļø
Maybe. Possibly. Perhaps.....

I'v been trynna work out my headcanon for how Zoro lost his eye
And, after thinking about it for awhile, I think it should be Mihawk's fault.
Not in a "I took your eye because of TRAINING" kind of thing, but in a way that leaves them both feeling awful and it is implicitly Mihawk's fault.
In a way that if it was Zoro being dumb or foolish or if it was completely out of Mihawk's hands because he was busy doing something, was somewhere else that would be one thing, but it wasn't! It was a completely avoidable situation where Mihawk should of been able to stop what happened and didn't or couldn't for whatever reason and it cost Zoro his eye.
In a way that -while Mihawk is NOT attached to these brats who invaded his home how dare you say that- he did accept Zoro as his charge and thus feels a massive amount of guilt he doesn't want nor know how to deal with because he ultimately failed somewhere that cant really be disputed nor can really be resolved.
(If you are going to interact, reblogs would be really appreciated!)
Your theory adds up well with this panel of Koushirou teaching Zoro. Mihawk cannot achieve perfection because he cannot protect with his sword. He can only destroy.
During Marineford, Mihawk faced Luffy and accepted he could kill him with his sword.
He says "This power knows no restraint". Does this mean he cannot fully control his sword's strength ?
reblog if you love ao3 exactly how it is and you donāt want it to āupdateā or change in any wayā”

Though somewhat divisive, I tried out long haired Zoro again š¤ still kind of looks like a different guy but I think working on these has caused me to grow used to it lmao
