At first, it seemed to have worked. The young human backed off, but only for a few steps. Then she sat down. And she stayed there. Alright, not exactly the way heβd planned things to go.
Prowl considered himself a very patient individual, and he probably could have won this virtual staring contest with ease. But a seed of doubt had planted itself in his mind. This human had approached a police vehicle, poked at it, and then sat down to wait, presumably for the officer to return.
β¦Sigh. If she really needed something, he didnβt want to leave her high and dry. It went against everything heβd been taught.
And thus, after a bit of fumbling with his hardlight holoform settings, an officer in full police uniform stepped out from around a nearby corner. The avatar that Prowl had chosen was average in build, salt-and-pepper hair, slightly short for an adult male, and not much to talk about in terms of facial expression. The avatarβs face would remain expressionless as he stepped up to the young girl at the curb.
βCan I help you, maβam?β
She blinked, before jumping to her feet with a small handfail.Β βOh! Uh -- yes! Is that your patrol car?β Isabel gestured to Prowl before barreling on without waiting for an answer.Β βOnly because! I was wondering -- that custom emblem youβve got on the grill, it looks really cool and I was wondering where you got it? I thought itβd look nice on my bag, see, so I wanted to know if there was a place I could get a patch for it!β
She held up her bag, as if illustrating the point might make him more likely to tell her.
βSo! Yeah! Thatβs what I needed.β
