Piper had sent them more pictures yesterday, and Nico now had a folder on his phone dedicated to Lucy. “She’s so cute and friendly,” Nico coos. Michael smiles at Will. “Going the dog route. Nice choice,” he says. Nico just rolls his eyes. “At least I have someone to cuddle with,” he teases. Michael just shrugs. “Too much of me to stay tied down.” Naomi seats at him. “Just like your father,” she says smiling.

-“You’re just jealous,” Lee says. Michael shrugs. They all knows he’s just waiting for the perfect someone to walk into his life. And that he travels too much to really build a steady relationship. “We have a dog,” Nico says around his French toast. He wipes his hands to pull out his phone. He scrolls through pictures of Lucy that Will didn’t even know he had. He’s relieved a bit to see that Nico’s home screen is still a picture of the two of them. “She’s cute,” Naomi says, smiling.-/-/-“She is cute,” Nico agreed. “And she’s the sweetest thing. Doesn’t bark at all,” he added. Lee frowned. “Uh, aren’t dogs supposed to bark?” He asked. Nico shrugged and put his phone back down. “We had her checked out. She’s perfectly healthy, she just doesn’t bark.” He responded. Will glanced at Nico’s lock screen, and noticed that it was a picture of Lucy curled up on the couch with one of her toys. She was staring right into the camera, and Will had to admit, it was pretty cute. Breakfast didn’t last too long before Will stood up to clean the dishes. “Nico, wanna head into town with us today?” Lee offered. “Michael and I need to run a few errands, it’d be more fun with you.”
