"Is this absolutely necessary?"
"The handcuffs? Given who you are, I thought that answer was a given."
"Hush. I’m trying to link with the TARDIS and you’re disturbing my thought stream."
"Try telling me to hush a little nicer and I might consider it."
[desperately want a love triangle sort of plot where nina is jealous of the relationship clara has with danny.... pllleeeeaaasseee]
The last thing Nina had expected when she agreed to go on this mission was she'd be going out on her own. But once again, U.N.I.T had managed to surprise her. She wasn't too sure what their reasoning was, something about the place being so secure that even just a small team of people wouldn't get through unnoticed. It couldn't even be guaranteed she would get through unnoticed, which was why her hand had been firmly grasping on her gun since the moment she had arrived.
The task once she was inside, was actually incredibly simple. Find the piece of alien technology that was given off energy readings that showed it to be potentially dangerous, if left in the wrong hands, which it was. It sounded straight forward enough, but what hadn't been expected was for someone to break their way in as well.
She turned to face the blonde, not even bothering the mask the look of annoyance that was splayed across her face. The last thing that was needed on a mission like this was a civilian that needed to be watched.
"Get. Out." She pronounced each word carefully, almost like she was talking to a young child. "It isn't safe here."

"Come ere’ and see this.."
"See what? I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at..."
The Doctor chuckled at her very unconvincing face.
“Hmm, you’re getting into adventures and fun and danger. Is that okay for you?”
She couldn't help but smile at that. Adventures, fun, danger. Three of her favourite things, really... But the smile soon faded as another doubt was put into her mind.
"One more thing. ---- Are you sure you want me travelling with you? I mean, I'm a U.N.I.T officer. I didn't think we were exactly your favourite people in the world... universe, whatever."
The Doctor raised his eyebrows.
"Is that so?"
"Yeah, really..."
Her voice didn't sound convincing in the slightest, and her arms folded as she attempted to look serious.
"I like to know what I'm getting into, okay?"

"I can't remember where I parked.."
"Well, if you’re going to travel with me. It is."
"Well, if you're going to keep giving me answers that aren't really answers, then maybe I won't travel with you."
“Sure. You’re welcome.”
"For Go---- You are not funny, Clara."
Open~
"Because no. That’s why."
"That's not a proper answer."

"Well that was bloody stupid."
"It's always nice to know I can reply on you for some reassurance...
----Thanks for that."
Clara has died. (... like a lot!)
".....has died." finish it in my ask.
She said nothing for a few moments. She just stands there in a stunned silence, not fully being able to grasp what she was being told. Were they trying to tell her that she was never going to see Clara's face again? Her Clara? There was going to be no more insufferable smirking as Clara some how managed to get one over on her. No more adorable smiles as she appeared on her doorstep unexpectedly. No more burnt soufflés...
And then it seemed to suddenly sink in and Nina collapsed down into the chair that thankfully had been there behind her. Her breathing becoming suddenly erratic and she tried to force herself not to cry. But the attempts were useless and the tears ran down her cheeks silently in what seemed to be their thousands.
"She, uh... She didn't feel it did she? --- Oh my God. I'm so sorry."
”That does sound like something that would happen to me… but I usually can talk my way out of it. Rambling works on occasion. It would explain why most of those encounters end with running…
You really don’t need to worry about it. If things in the Black Archive needed to be remembered by everyone, they wouldn’t have started the whole memory thing in the first place. You’re not missing… much.
It is a fancy paper weight! I only say that because she really probably is using it as a paper weight. She’s more of the… bigger things type of person. Not that that’s a bad thing! She’ll be thankful when she really needs it though, I know that.
My ship got flooded that last time it rained here. My ship! I couldn’t believe it. I’m not sticking around if it ends up raining. You keep that thing warm at all costs… not that you can control it but… you try!
I don’t think I caught your name. I think I’ve seen you around though. I’m bad with faces. Sometimes. What’s your name?”
"Ah, now there's nothing wrong with running. I like running. I'd be in the wrong line of work if I didn't but still. ---- Running is good. As long as you're fast enough to out run the bad guys, otherwise that'll probably work against you.
That's... slightly comforting? Thanks, I suppose. How come you remember the things in the Black Archive anyway? Is it 'cause your funky, alien biology means the memory wiping doesn't work on you? Or is it just 'cause you're one of Kate's favourites?
It's actually quite pretty, and you don't need too keep telling the weather every second, so I suppose I can't blame her too much on the paper weight thing. I'm sure she uses it, though. I mean, it's so much easier just to see if this thing is hot or cold than to turn the TV on for a bloody weather report."
[She tried her best not to snigger as the flooded ship thing, and fails badly. She just can't help it. She'd heard so many things about this man... and the ship that she had never imagined flooding being a problem for him.]
"Bloody hell, you don't ask for a lot do you? You do realise this is England of all places. I think trying to stop the rain here would be more difficult than anywhere else in the world. But you know, I'll try my best. Don't want that blue box of yours to be filled up with water do we?
Oh right, names! Yes, of course. I'm Nina. ---- No need to ask who you are, though."
“Well, I guess it depend on how you look at the situation,”
"And how are you lookin' at the situation?"
".....has died." finish it in my ask.
