A sepal, petal, and a thorn Upon a common summer's morn- A flask of Dew - A Bee or two - A Breeze - a caper in the trees - And I'm a Rose!
by Emily Dickinson
Because that Death is final, However first it be, This instant be suspended Above Mortality-
by Emily Dickinson
She is healed
She is magnetic
She is vibrant
She is abundant
She is prosperous
She is restored
She is you.
The Soul selects her own Society —
Then — shuts the Door —
To her divine Majority —
Present no more —

Physics
(Subject Aesthetics 3)
desk covered with open books, torn sheets and scribbled formulae
using F = ma as an emotional support formula during exams
the unspoken joy of simplifying a complicated expression
scribbling "why" next to a step you don’t understand and never getting back to it
keeping an old stargazing app buried in your phone because sometimes you just need to know where Orion is
acting like you hate numericals but lowkey feeling powerful when you get one right
making the dumbest mistakes but somehow nailing the 5 marker that no one understood
somehow losing the only working pen halfway through solving a derivation you were finally understanding
putting stars, underlines, and "pls remember" next to formulas
scribbling equations on random receipts, napkins, or the back of your hand because the thought won’t wait
Biology
(Subject Aesthetics 2)
old biology textbooks covered with notes on the margin and sticky notes
learning about diseases and symptoms and diagnosing your friends for fun
the rush when you successfully stain a slide and look at it's beauty under the microscope 🔬
when a complex topic suddenly clicks and you feel like a scholar from a forgotten time
referring to scientific names in casual conversations just for fun
being fully ready to argue if someone says biology is "just memorization"
writing "important!!!" and "???" in your notes
your lab coat pockets filled with pens, tissues and one extremely crumpled flowchart you refuse to throw away
falling into a spiral because you started by looking up one disease and ended up reading research papers on genetic mutations at 3 a.m.
keeping that one random printout from a seminar because it feels like a historical document now
Chemistry 🧪
(Subject Aesthetics 1)
looking at a random element on the periodic table and suddenly all the bits and pieces of information you have learnt about it, start connecting in your mind 🧩
sudden release of dopamine whenever you learn something new which peaks your interest
the urge to be the best
chemistry practicals >>> chemistry theory
always keeping a small pocket diary and pen in the pocket of your lab coat for taking quick notes
staying up late into the night while pondering over a new concept you have learnt
actually liking organic chemistry once you understand it
precision and steady hands while performing titration because you have so much practice after standing for hours in the lab
on that being said, the beautiful shade of light pink of a perfect titration
notebooks covered in formulae, stains and secrets only you can decipher
My past still lingers inside me
As broken and scattered shards of hope
Haunting what could have been.
