I’ve had huge issues with optics planet every time my husband has ordered from them. Last time he ordered a 400$ scope they charged him twice, two different totals, and it didn’t ship for a week, and the charge went through. we emailed them the day the order was placed to get the charge reversed or find out what even was going on, they didn’t get back to us till after the item shipped. the charge had finalized and everything so we had to argue with them that they charged us twice and get them to refund the money. god, I love their prices, but holy hell is their customer service a nightmare.

Democrat Andrew Cuomo Signs Gun Confiscation into Law in NY

Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) signed gun confiscation into law for New York on Monday.

The law takes effect 180 days from the date of signing.

Buffalo News reports that the law allows that “family members, school administrators and law enforcement officials can seek to get guns confiscated from people deemed by courts to be an ‘extreme risk’ to themselves or others.”

Me internally: Guns are a fascinating feat of technology and engineering, and the sense of accomplishment you get from getting a bull’s eye using certain techniques is a source of joy (something admittedly quite rare for me). They can also be used as a means to protect my person and house, instead of having to rely on an ever-increasingly stretched-thin police force who tend to respond far later after the fact.
