uh.... im now 4 years out from my graduation from my coding bootcamp, it did end up being one of the best decisions of my life. currently a ✨senior✨ software dev at my company, got promoted last month even tho im again still very new to the industry - it turns out doing every other job possible during your 20s can give you a bit of a head start when it comes to soft skills??

I just thought of this post, which was actually how I learned what Dark Patterns are, because I tried to cancel my Adobe Acrobat subscription, and it took much longer than I anticipated because several times throughout the process it felt like it was intentionally trying to trick me into thinking I'd cancelled my subscription when I actually hadn't yet.

btw orange cat update - he's doing great but he can NOT get the cat fur off of the one rug in the living room (ironically the one he's pictured on above) so we did buy a hand vac specifically for this rug
