I can’t remember which email I used for his main blog I’M SO MAD ;n; I’ve got too many blogs, and like...six have slipped through the cracks because I didn’t write them down in my notebook before I moved. SessionBox fucked me over and didn’t save all my SAVED SESSIONS when it updated and they want me to pay a subscription fee to actually save my sessions to my account permanently now and I’m a poor bitch....

I want to be a lot more active on Arryn, and it’s not easy with him as a side-blog because when I follow people from my main and link them to Arryn or have Arryn’s promo as the first post on my main they either don’t follow Arryn or don’t want to rp with him because he’s a side blog, and I’m too much of an awkward potato to keep messaging people individually about it. █ Old friends, new friends, Sabrae clan members (including Wardens), fellow Dalish from other clans that he has known for a while, rivals/enemies, romantic interests set during Origins/Awakening (not necessarily sexual in nature, can be unrequited or starcrossed as well, they love each other but circumstances prevent it or they mutually agree it won’t work for some reason), long-term or past lovers (he’s very picky about this one), and an endgame relationship by the time of the Inquisition and beyond are all up in the air at the moment (09.29.2017). Additional notes:

While I’m still working on writing up his backstory, Arryn has been around in some fashion since the beginning of Origin. He’s a member of the same clan as the Dalish Warden, and at some point he made his way to the Free Marches and Kirkwall in an attempt to find his missing daughter and to track down his clan (which had migrated to the area outside of Kirkwall). Depending on circumstances, he would befriend Hawke or one of their friends, or be sent to keep an eye on Merrill, and would end up fighting alongside Hawke & Company during the rebellion (unless Hawke killed the Sabrae clan; if this happens in your Hawke’s story, Arryn will despise you and if he’s around at all it would be because of one of your companions).

Arryn is a hunter/gatherer for the clan, but he was also a storyteller and records-keeper before he initially was separated from the clan during the Blight.

If he was friendly with Hawke in Kirkwall, he will arrive at Skyhold with Hawke and stay behind as a representative regardless of Hawke’s survival. If he was not friendly with Hawke, he would have been with the Inquisition since Haven, arriving shortly before Corypheus’ attack.

For any events during the Blight itself, it’s unlikely he was a companion of the Warden unless they came across him by accident after he was separated from his clan. Any events during the 10+ year gap are up in the air.

Relationships with Canon Companions:

Just based on a few threads (that died ages ago because I was forced to go on hiatus for personal reasons) Arryn was friendly with Dorian, Sera, Zevran, and Fenris, and I like to imagine he’d be friendly with Varric and relatively friendly with Solas as well. In the one thread I had with an Anders it didn’t go well in spite of Arryn being pro-Mage given that his only surviving child is a Mage; Anders was exceptionally antagonistic toward him the entire conversation.

These however are also completely up in the air since everyone RPs the characters differently.
