Amending my previous statement about this "Ocelot is a whore" thing by answering you finally, sorry im so late but, I finally have seen it and I understand it now. Ie. I finally have something to say about it.

It's just people being casually homophobic... plain and simple. People in fandom do this to queer-coded characters all the time. They don't even realize they're being homophobic either when they do it, they just have it internalized. Unfortunately... sigh. -_-
