This is something I've definitely already thought about, and I agree, they'd be well suited! But there's also something else I've been wanting to draw with a (youngling) Leia for awhile now, so I'll cross that off the list first 🤔!

I know you're out of the country (or at least last I saw, that you said you'd be traveling), but do you think you'll open the shop up again early next year? And at that, will you keep orders open for US buyers? There's a couple things in your shop I wasn't able to snag bc of funds last open that I'm hoping to get next shop open 😭🤞

Earlier this week, the US recently announced significant changes to its import tariff rules that will take effect from 29th August 2025 which will greatly disrupt the scope of pre-orders.

I also want to clarify, if you did not choose to refund now, it does not mean you can't request it later! I just wanted to give the option to those who couldn't afford to wait for the shipping restrictions to be lifted 😭
As I understand it, the new tariff laws/proposal is being taken to Supreme Court. I'm hoping for a good outcome, or at least, the reinstating of de minimus 🙏🙏🙏

WOAH..! Thank you so much 😳! Ah, I'm afraid this is where I have to out myself as a fake Batman fan, because most of my reading was just following the n52 mainline as it released, and that's when I liked just about anything.
I actually haven't read a lot of the classics (and even when I have, my bad memory doesn't retain ANY of it), on top of my very long hiatus. But I'll try to remember the ones that left an impression...
BATMAN (2011) - The Court of Owls (Synder, Capullo, Glapion)
A modern classic! Comic writers are consistently creating their own bad guys, wanting to make a lasting impression on the infamous rogue's gallery, but rarely does it every stick. Snyder managed to be the one exception, and for that alone, this is worth the read.
BATMAN (2011) - Zero Year (Synder, Capullo, Plascencia)
Honestly I don't remember a lot about this one, other than the art being gorgeous; FCO is a god-tier colourist. This was also the arc where comics kinda started "clicking" for me, so that counts for something.
BATMAN & ROBIN (2011) (Tomasi, Gleason, Gray)
HA HA, I TRICKED YOU! This one still counts as Batman, right? I started reading B&R after I caught up with mainline Batman, and the rest is history. Genuinely fantastic, I'd recommend it to anyone.
ROBIN: SON OF BATMAN (2015) (Gleason, Grey, Kalisz)
TRICKED YOU AGAIN! Not Batman, but it would be criminal of me not to include this. If you like Batman & Robin (2011), then this comic is like the expansion pack. I miss Gleason's involvement every single day...
I would recommend The Boy Wonder (2025, Ba) as well, but that would be pushing my luck.
I'll admit, these recommendation are based more on nostalgia than anything; I guess I prefer reading issue-by-issue, but I wasn't a fan when King took over, and Zdarsky's recent run was kinda boring to me, so now I only read................ Damian comics 💀🤡 (everyone point and laugh).

oh wow, helloooooo! thank you so much for your support! unfortunately I'm Perth-based (stinky) so I only have local events for the remainder of the year.
But I really enjoyed AVCon and Adelaide a lot 🥰🥰! Would love to come back next year if I'm lucky!
