“I thought it was a figment of my imagination. When I woke up you were gone. I had no reason to think about it being a possibility until just now.” She walked up to him and caressed his cheek. “Why are you sorry? You have nothing to be sorry for.”

“She’s my daughter?” Daniel said “Hold on a minute, Adelia, what in the world?” he said feeling shocked

“I thought it was just a realistic dream, fantasy.” She sighed. “Nez had a party to celebrate me getting away from Lucas. I got super drunk and when I woke up I was naked in bed.”

“He isn’t a match for her blood type?” Daniel asked “Come on lets get to the hospital right now.” the man said as he ran back out to his car opening the doors of the tesla

“That’s what they said.” The whole way there she was trying to figure this out. They were almost to the girl’s hospital room when Adelia stopped. “She has your blood type. She is your daughter.”

Daniel smiled hearing the little pet name she called him “I will, don’t worry.” he said as he got in his car and was soon enough at Adelia’s place. Daniel got out of his car and ran up to the door, he put the familiar code in and opened it. “Hey it’s just me.” Daniel said as he walked over to where all the girls were.

As soon as she heard him she ran towards him and into his arms. “Danny. I hate him. I hate him.” Adelia pulled away when her phone ring. “Hello. Yes she’s A positive. What do you mean he isn’t a match? Okay. Thank you. We’ll be right there.”

She somewhat relaxed at the sound of his voice. “Lucas called. Oak fell and broke her arm. Daniel, he wasn’t watching her. He was having sex.”

“Did she at least get taken to a hospital at all? I’m on my way to Lera’s.” Daniel said as he began to walk out of the building. “Is he coming?” Lera asked

“Yes he did.” She whispered, just wanting him here. Adelia nodded to her sister. “Be careful baby please.” The girl was so preoccupied she didn’t notice when the pet name slipped from her lips

She nodded her head. “But why? Why was he having sex instead of watching his daughter?” Adelia sighed knowing she was right. If anyone could calm her down it would be Daniel. She dialed his number. “Danny.” She whispered when she heard him answer.

Lera looked over at her sister “Go ahead and check on her, I’m gonna go grab us some warm towels.” the woman said kissing her sister on the head and smiling as she walked upstairs.

She nodded her head. “Hey Lucas.” She went through the normal stuff before he finally admitted something happened. “Excuse me?” Adelia whispered after he said that he was having sex with his girlfriend when she fell and broke her arm. “I’ll be right there.” She looked at her friends. “guys, I don't know what to do or who to call. I'm kind of freaking out.” The brunette said as tears started to come into her eyes

Adelia sat in her sister’s house with Ariana and Brooklyn. It was fun to have a break but she was still nervous about the new custody schedule, especially with her ex’s new girlfriend not liking her daughter and being very vocal about it. She reached for her phone. “Maybe I should check on Oaklyn again.”
