Heyyy, sorry to bother you, I know you're not very active on Tumblr but I wanted to ask...why did you delete your old FFIV drawings and posts?

I found several reblogs of these on other accounts and I find it really amazing the content you gave it!!

Whether it was by your own will or you just don't like to remember old works, I was just really curious about that topic.

hey, thanks for reaching out! i'm glad you found the (now no longer directly accessible) ffiv content interesting, it's still among my favorite fandoms..

unfortunately that stuff is kinda gone, yeah. i didn't delete it out of anything negative though. there just came a point where i needed a space to function as an art archive, and repurposing my old tumblr account seemed like a good idea. there was, well, a lot of chaff here. but that meant that a lot of old fandom stuff, incl. ffiv art, meta, headcanons etc, got thrown out with it.

and - to be perfectly honest - i kind of do regret this decision, because i think tumblr is still the best platform for fandom content. it has the best systems for it. i actually have a lot of thoughts about this and i'd even be tempted to move back here but i digress, so hahaha.

regarding my old stuff, i still have archive copies of everything that was on this tumblr so that 10+ page ffiv headcanon doc is still with me and close to my heart because i love it so much. i'm glad you found them too, even though it must be buried by now. i dug that grave myself, out of no ill intent, and it's kind of a shame but... yeah.

so, yeah. that's the story of that...
