Television history in the making right here
Love this ❤
I think good actors get to reflect a light of sincerity when given any sort of chance and you recognize that Sincereness right away after an actor has matured through the work. I never felt the same with actors like Dwayne Johnson.
Was watching the Palm Springs clip where Andy Samberg shines through the metaphoric light I mentioned above.
Yes I have a type
Am I looking for Dumbass™ Scared Agitated Gosling since the nice guys? Yess
Do I accept whatever I get ? Yess
to be clear I know nothing about any of these people. I am a medieval peasant watching nobles fight each other and I'm having a great time
Tell me why I just couldn't hate Yabushige sama by the end finale, granted he was a 2 side playing come on top kinda bitch, but we followed him from the start as he wrote poems, wills, and basically dealt with 3 dimensional chess around him, he was regretful and we knew his end. Still I couldn't dismiss him and his arc like a side character on any other show.

In love with Rhys Darby
Recently I recognize Rhys Darby in any form of media no matter the size of his role. And I get excited.
I can't seem to pinpoint what I love about him, the Australian / New Zeeland deadpan niceness, decent fella demeanor. Non - alpha energy. Love him
Just finished the episode where Linda talks to Bob's mother's grave and says "you made a good guy"
I think I'm in love with their marriage for so long now, never really appreciated it here but it's pretty well known by the community and hope I am lucky to have that kinda linda partnership.
People will show you who they are, but we ignore it because we want them to be who we want them to be.
Don Draper
Ada Limón, from “Sometimes I Think My Body Leaves a Shape in the Air”, The Carrying: Poems
The Bear S02E09 "OMELETTE"
Cicero/Oliver Platt is underrated.
I love this guy. I thought he would be more menacing and uncooperative about the money and The Bear. He set reasonable terms and was generous but stern. He really is like the dad in the family and does love them.
The cutest was Sugar sweet talking him because she’s the girl.
Loved him trying to calm Mikey down.
Loved him giving Carmy advice.
Loved him giving Richie the job.
Loved him being protective of Tiff.
He’s always to the point and from the heart even if he’s calling you on B.S.
I still want to know the story with the actual dad.
He was also in the jon fav chef movie. He was the critic who jon blasts upon. And what you wrote is exactly what I liked about this carefully crafted character brought to life by him. I'm glad you worded it.
My current favorite genre of television: "Letting actors I know from their previous comedy roles ruin me emotionally"
Thoughts on Bob Odenkirk's Lucky Hank finish with 8 episodes.
I love the grounded relationship Bob's characters had on his recent performances, Jimmy M or Hank D. Maybe it's just me who appreciates mature relationships / partnerships.... Marriages idk I'm biased, but damn it Bob sells it so well. That make-believe hold so much control over my emotions. Yearning for that tenderness.
Wanted more of Lucky Hank the moment he screamed at the tent out of nowhere.
