BIOGRAPHY !
When Aydin and Ersa first met, they were both two young adults that just begun college neither really looking for any sort of relationship. They met in a general education class their first year at college and immediately became friends. Their relationship eventually progressed to a romantic one by the end of their third year at university. Ersa went off to study medicine, while Aydin always had his sights set on politics. After they finished their degrees, they married and stared a life together. Aydin slowly working his way up in the political field, while Ersa's career was just starting out. By the age of thirty-two, both of them were well respected in their fields and Aydin was offered a job working with the ambassador in America. At first, Ersa decided not to follow her husband, but when she got pregnant, she took a hiatus to live with her husband.
Adile Topal was born a fragile child, a sick child. For the first four years of her life, she was barely let outside the walls of her house—her parents scared that she'd catch a cold. But for as fragile as she was, Adile was a firecracker. She was always causing some sort of trouble, unable to sit still for more than two seconds, or attempting to escape. She was curious about the world around her and wished that she was allowed the freedom to see the world beyond Embassy Row. Eventually, her parents relented enough to let her go to a private school in DC. Adile hated school. She didn't like the structure, didn't like the rules, didn't like the lack of freedom and creativity. Often she was lost in her own little world or pretending to play with fantastical creatures she made up in her mind. As much as her parents tried to keep a reign on their daughter, they couldn't.
Her parents eventually decided that maybe Adile and Ersa should go back home for a while—maybe that would calm their wild child down. It did the opposite. She only became more wild back home. After turning twelve, they decided to send her back to America, hoping that if the family was together, that maybe their child would calm down. Of course, Adile didn't settle down. No matter what they tried, no matter how much they punished and threatened to send her to a boarding school, Adile seemed to cause chaos everywhere she went. Her parents stopped trying to control her, realizing that their child was always going to crave chaos. But they warned her that one day her ways would end up getting someone—or herself—injured. There were just some lessons that Adile was going to have to learn on her own and maybe then, she would learn to live a more cautious life.
Adile loved taking risks that she knew she shouldn't take. When Adile was sixteen, she and her best friend skipped school to go to a concert in Baltimore. The two of them didn't see the deer until it was too late. Her friend swerved and the car went off the road into a ditch. Adile was rushed to the hospital with a few broken bones, but her best friend didn't make it. That lesson that her parents had always tried to warn her about had finally been taught—and Adile learned it the hard way. After the accident, Adile changed. Or at least she played the part. The other students around her whispered about her and she had no friends for the remainder of school. She finished high school, barely managing to scrape the grades together. Adile hadn't even bothered to apply for colleges.
Her parents were at a loss with what to do with her. In the end, it didn't matter. Adile turned eighteen and took off across the country. She landed in Aurora Bay honestly on accident. As much as her parents wanted to keep in contact with her, Adile decided that the only contact she'd have with her parents were once a year on her birthday. She got a job as a maid at Seascape. Even though Adile's parents have tried to send her money and want her to go to college—they ask every year on her birthday—she's happy with her life. As much as she's struggling to scrape by, she's truly thriving being on her own. To her, the world is a wide, wonderful place with lots of new people and new experiences—and she knows that living every day to the fullest is the only way to live a fulfilling life.
HEADCANONS !
She never finished a single book she was supposed to read for high school. She'd always get someone to tell her what the book was about or read Spark Notes.
When she produces her phone, Uly leans forward to inspect the photo that she was showing him. If it was AI or Photoshop or some other form of edited manipulation he wouldn't have been able to tell. He wasn't on the internet like that, at most he posted on Instagram here and there and tuned out everything else.
"How did you go from the White House to this fucking town?" He asks after concluding his investigation of the image.
Adile didn't have any reason to lie about her past. Maybe someone else would have photoshopped the photo or whatever, but she didn't know how to use those programs. She'd grown up there and there wasn't a point in lying about it.
"Didn't wanna go to college like my parents wanted me to, so I got on a train and got as far away as possible," she shrugged.
Syrena looked at the manta ray one she had pointed out. "It is really adorable." She said with a smile before looking at the other options again. "I really wanted the sun, the flower, the dolphin.." The list really went on and on. "I may even get a matching one with you for funsies."
"Oh, let's do that! You should just get a bunch. Why not?" Adile looked at all the options. She hadn't really thought about getting more than one, but why not have a fun day? She hadn't had a long day off in a long time. Well, at least a couple of weeks. "I like that shell," she pointed to the conch.
"Would it shock you to learn I've never seen it?" Adile shrugged. "I'm honestly not a big movie person. I'd rather listen to music. I have seen Jaws though. I don't know why those people decided to swim in the shark's home."

"It's too hard to pick just one." Syrena said as she looked over all the choices on the table. "I want all of the glittery one's all over my body." She said with a small laugh. "Which one are you thinking about getting?"
"You should get some glittery ones." Adile looked at all the ocean themed ones and found a shark she really liked. "You should pick more than one. I don't think I can decide on just one. This little manta ray one is adorable."
“ yeah i tend to hate a crowded bar or really anywhere crowded “ it was why she worked in a studio by herself most of the time unless she had a guest on. She just preferred the silence and the lack of people. “ hmmm I haven’t see the snow in a long time. There is some in the mountains up north but it’s not the terrain to ever go by yourself “
“ Thats possible or I just stopped caring “ @adiletopal
"Interesting. I don't hate crowds, but I won't seek them out either." Adile got too hot when she was around a ton of people. "I get that." Experiences didn't have to be around people. She was a big believer in that. "It's been a while since I've seen snow too. I mean I left home when I turned eighteen." She didn't miss the snow.
"Yeah, sometimes I wish Christmas was like those winter wonderland places... you know, lots of snow, and stuff. But god, I just do not do well in those temperatures. I think I'm just too used to Christmas on the beaches now." Hunter said in jest, as he laughed. "Where is it you're originally from?"
"I would hate that. I did hate that. People who like cold are unusual to me.. What's it like?" It didn't always snow like that back where she grew up, though did every so often get really cold and snow. Rarely during Christmas, still. "Christmas as the beach is superior, I think." She shook her head. "I'm from DC."
"That's an actual thing isn't it? Where people can't recognize faces. I don't remember what it's called. They say Brad Pitt has it and that's probably why he always dresses like his girlfriends." Rafael hasn't fact checked any of this, but he's also not claiming it to be absolute truth. "Make me a playlist and I'll consider it?" Raf takes in a deep breath, almost reluctant to share his favorite, "Adam Levine, or Maroon 5." He pauses, allowing for imaginary boos, "I know he's tattooed like a Chipotle bag and he is kind of a dickhead, maybe even cancelled? I don't know, but fuck it. I like his music." @adiletopal
"Yeah, it's a thing. I think my brain processes faces too slowly to recognize people in the moment." It was not that thing. "I don't think that's true. I think he's just an asshole." She wouldn't know, she's only read what they've said online about him. "Alright, you've got a deal. I'll make a great playlist that you won't be able to deny has the best Turkish music you've ever heard." Probably because he'd never heard it before. "Interesting." She had heard of both of them. They were a bit basic for her. "I think they're more basic than Elton John."
"Yeah, and the mountains are out that way, but I don't want to hike them, either."
Aeris would prefer Los Angeles. Or, he would have at one point, but his need for cheap, and following Faye's trail to here, led him to landing in Aurora Bay. That isn't anything Adile needs to know, though.
He listens to her, still, mostly unenthused, with his arms lazily crossed, and his back leaned up against the wood of the pier.
"What if what seemed like a bad decision at the time turns out to have been one of the best decisions of your life?" he counters, curious. Not that Aeris drinks himself enough into oblivion to make said stupid decisions— not since his dumb teen years.
He shrugs, turning his attention to the ocean out of boredom. "That's too much positive for me. Or ambitious. I'm thirty six with plenty left to do, just not things accessible on the daily." A lightbulb goes off in his head in that moment.
"Well, I mean that just sounds hard. The beach is easy. You can splash around a little." She didn't think that she'd like climbing a mountain.
Adile had chosen this town because she wanted to be this close to the water, the ocean sunsets, the warm, the sand, everything about the water. It's what she and her best friend dreamed about when they were younger.
"Then clearly it was a good decision. I make at least three bad decisions a day. The other day I spent all the money I earned in a day on a bag I really wanted. Seems silly, but it was probably a bad decision. Now I have a cute bag though." Adile laughed.
"I have to be positive. I'm thirty, so that's not an excuse." She knew it was positive. That was the point.
3. Tell us a bit about your muse’s family. Who raised them? Who are they still in contact with? Who do they feel close to?
"I was raised by my mom and dad. And like this guy who was always in our house. He wasn't like a butler or nanny or whatever, but he usually watched me and a few other kids when our parents were busy. More like a babysitter, I guess. I think he was a junior staffer or something. I don't know. I'm not in contact with anyone from my childhood. Maybe my best friend's cousins. I was never really close to anyone except my best friend."
"I think I'd have a hard time not living by the water, after having done for so long." He had gotten spoiled, that even if he eventually ended up moving easy enough access to a beach/the water would be high on the list.
"It helps to get to just pick up and leave when you want, even come back later if the mood strikes." Maybe the crowds would thin, as those who came to visit and therefore likely plant themselves for most of the day would be starting to wrap up. "What do you do when it's not the best beach weather, like it's cloudy?"
"People back home would drive to the beach or just go out in boats after driving to an area with boats. The amount of kids in my class that had large boats. What are they called?" Adile questioned, humming under her breath. "I like being a walking distance to the beach." And she wasn't planning on moving.
"I agree! I adore when I can have a couple of hours to chill at the beach and then just go home before going off to work. Or like stop by on the way home from work. It's great." As long as it wasn't raining or super windy. "I'll still go to the beach when it's cloudy. As long as it isn't raining. But I try to do something new every day."
"Now I'm wondering if you're calling me old," he jokes, though he's not exactly lying. "Alright, fair enough, I'd try to impress you and say that I've heard of them, but I wouldn't even know where to begin." He thought of himself as a decent actor but he wasn't much for improv. "I've heard of Elton John, though. He's alright, I guess." @adiletopal
"No, I'm just not very not very good at remembering faces." She normally didn't care to remember faces. "Maybe you should listen to some Turkish bands. They're really great. I love all of them." She loved dancing around to her favorite bands even if not many people here could understand the lyrics. "I'd hope so. He's one of those English speaking people," Adile said it as if it was an insult, but she was joking. "Okay, then who's your favorite?"
“ the beach is cold at night. Same as the desert and we’re pretty close to both of those things. So I get my jacket weather when I can around here “ Lalita noted with a shrug before glancing back to her with a small smile. “ I think it’s not as hot as you’re making it seem to be out here. I wear my boots and tights all the time and it’s never bothered me? Only in the summer do I forget the tights” @adiletopal
"Oh that makes sense. I don't really leave my apartment past like 9pm, unless I'm going to a bar. And those are usually crowded." Sometimes she wished that she didn't hate the cold so much. "It's hot compared to where I grew up," she shrugged. "It snowed like all the time back where I am." Adile hummed. "Maybe you're just used to it."
[ TXT ] : how illegal would it be if i showed up with a raccoon in a cowboy hat? + robbie
Adile: It's only illegal if you stole the raccoon.
Adile: And don't tell me if you did or not because I have like $3 and I don't think that will cover bail.
