Wandering along the Old Street, we happened to see several pedestrians inserting a 10-NT-dollar coin into the old-school device to spin the lucky wheel, deciding how many scoops of Taiwanese traditional ice cream (Ba-Bu) to obtain. While walking along the trail in the hill, where a park with an old Japanese shrine as well as two schools and two temples is located, near the rear gate of the primary school, we ran into a herd of cats and kittens which are actually not afraid of people, long sheltering there and casually crawling or playing on the ground or the wall. It seems that they have gotten used to interacting with tourists or locals, waiting for the feed or something else.
