As I sit upon my chair, quietly in my very first apartment here in Japan. Let me write to you the highlights of my 2023. It was crazy ride.
January, had a nice new year with my family. I was glad to meet my friends before leaving for March.
February, it's the time when I start packing my stuff and still can't believe that i'm finally moving to Japan next month.
March, the month just passed like a blur and on 24 March 2023, I flew to Japan. I spent a week in Sendai for the training.
April, I finally move to my very first apartment. I was so happy that i'm finally living the best of my life. Went to work and it wasn't as easy as I expected. It took time for me to get along and get used with my co-workers. Saw the cherry blossoms too!
May, went out of town with some of my co-ALTs. But mostly I just spent my holidays alone.
June, work work work! Started learning Japanese and bought my own fridge and washing machine.
July, got terribly sick. Had my first hospital experience in my entire life and abroad. Got friendzoned. Nevertheless, in this month I met the sweetest guy I've ever known who's currently my boyfriend.
August, enjoyed summer here in Japan. Went out to different places with many different people. I enjoyed watching the summer festivals and all.
September, back to work. There aren't much of things happened except the start of Autumn.
October, the Autumn leaves went full bloom and celebrated the birthday of my love.
November, crazily in love when I first experiences my first snow fall. Felt like a child.
December, finally after 8 or 9 months of being away. I met my family when they came here and travelled together in Nagoya - Gifu - Kyoto - Osaka.
Now, I'm freezing here, writing about how my whole life changed in a year. I'm happy with my relationship. However, I miss the church and serving mostly. Writing my goals for 2024 on my next post.
