WHAT WAS THAT?!
This is the most unsatisfying ending of a series I have ever read. There are so many lose ends left, plot lines abandoned, characters that are just missing, that were important to the story at some point and OMG all the plot holes!
Like I get it, you don’t have to answer to all the set up questions and mysteries, but like the BIGGEST of them?
This is a final book in a story about EVANGELINE and JACKS! And yet there are only like 5 chapters from his POV, the rest is Evangeline and this f*cking Apollo. Like did we need so mush of him? No, we didn’t ! His is such a boring villain. Why? Why? And spending like 50% of the book with Evangeline that doesn’t remember anything and with her constantly having those ✨memories ✨ coming back is such a waste!
It’s not a bad book, but it’s a horrid conclusion to their story. Honestly it felt more like a setup for Apollo series, which is infuriating. It should have been about them! Like we have waited 2 books for their first kiss and we got what? It’s soooo disappointing.
I will give this book 1 star, just because as the middle book of the series it would have been fine, but not the grand finale.
I'm actually sad. I was so, so excited for this book. It wasn't awful, but it was just not it.
