also much like janet from the good place, ally doesn’t like being called a man or a boy. he uses male pronouns, sure, but he will say things like ‘ i’m not a boy ’ or ‘ mm, not a man ’, & has asked before to be referred to as a being rather than a person. there is multiple video evidence of this in interviews & at award shows

lemme just say that ally is horrified by aliens in modern media : war of the worlds, mars attacks, cloverfield, a quiet place, close encounters of the third kind, etc. like sure there are some aliens like those out there, but for the most part they’re all pretty chill, with no interest in fucking up the little blue water planet & its inhabitants ( alien franchise is . . . undecided because he definitely know some fuckers like that . . . ). you can, however, pry E.T from his slender alien hands because he would die for that little guy, & bawled when e.t & elliott got sick in the film & the government got involved
