Worth waiting for
Hearing his name spoken so softly caused a shiver to run down his spine. Releasing Yuri’s hand, Hisoka reached up and wrapped his arms around his neck. “O-okay,” he sniffled, burying his face in his shoulder. Although he definitely wanted to know what had happened, he was too caught up in having him here in his arms.
Despite the strange smell emanating from the witch, which Hisoka found rather easy to ignore, it was just like old times. Well, the smell and his rugged appearance. What exactly happened at his school…? The thought of something bad happening to him caused Hisoka to cry even harder, his sobs growing louder as his arms tightened around his neck, muttering a broken apology for sobbing right into his ear.
“Oh, Yu,” he whispered softly, sniveling softly as he spoke, “I forgive you– I-I couldn’t possibly stay mad at you– I love you.”
No, he definitely wasn’t mad anymore. He didn’t know exactly how he felt at the moment, he was simply… confused. He was so unbelievably happy to see him again, but he was also consumed by all the emotions he’d been so desperate to ignore during the year he spent without him. “I love you so much,” he sobbed, clinging to the witch for dear life, “Do you still love me?” He needed to know that this man was still in love with him– badly.
Squeezing the smaller male tightly, Yu let out a small sigh, happy to hear the words of love muttered to him by the sobbing male. “Hisa.. I love yah, I do.” He muttered into the other males ear, carefully running his fingers through the beautiful red hair Hisoka had.
“I won’t leave yah again.. Promise.”
Pausing for a moment, he slowly started speaking again. “Can I come home with yah?” He missed Blueberry, and Hisoka, and missed having a home in general.. He wanted to be able to spend as much time with this man as he possibly could right now.
