I’m in Vancouver atm visiting my fiancé’s family and it’s lovely and good to get away and everything but something I find really shocking is the levels of homelessness and drug use just on the streets and no one seems to help??

last night we were on the metro and someone came on, sat opposite us, and started melting heroin in a spoon and prepping his needles

like I grew up and live in a big city but I’ve not seen anything on this scale and I find it very distressing that there isn’t anything being done to help these people?? Or nowhere near enough

haven’t used this in approx 1 million years after an app purge on my phone

the most exciting thing in my life rn is that I got a new job and managed to wangle a whole month of annual leave before starting so I am currently in Canada and on returning will plant a vertical herb garden and paint every single skirting board

British Gas gave faulty advice - wasn’t a problem with the boiler, was a problem with the tank (much cheaper! Much easier)

Yes I’ve written a formal complaint let’s see what we can get out of this
