Helpful and Preventative Stretches for Writers, Artists, and Gamers đŞđ¨âđŽ
If you type, write, draw, game, or generally use your hands a lot (especially if youâre prone to RSI or Carpal Tunnel!) try these stretches as both a preventative measure, and on the spot relief. Take care of yourself and your body, friends!
Start with hands up, fingers stretched out. Â Stretch your thumb as far as you can over your palm. Hold and repeat 4 times.
Touch each finger to your thumb. Hold each for 30 seconds. Repeat on each hand 4 times.
Start with a fist. Open half way, hold for 2 seconds. Stretch fingers out, hold for 2 seconds. Repeat 4 times.
Start with one arm out, palm up. Pull your fingers back with your other hand. Hold for 10 seconds. Do the same with your other hand. Repeat 4 times
Start with arms up, palms out. Bend wrists down until you feel the stretch, but keep your fingers loose. Hold 10 seconds. Bend wrist upwards, until you feel it in your wrist and arm. Hold 10 seconds. Repeat 4 times.

Sometimes
Thereâs this thought I have sometimesâŚa concept if you willâŚ. that alot of the thoughts we are afraid to face is actually a language that our physical form creates to look at the deeper issues within us. If youâre willing to sit with them and understand what the hidden message or lesson is behind it⌠you gain some enlightenment. And the crazy part isâŚ..the more you do itâŚ.the easier it becomes to see how tangible inner peace is.
Itâs not a concept, itâs the actuality, to be with yourself and pay attention to those internal movements is listening. When you listen to your body, on a deeper level, you gather energy to respond or the stream dissipates. Our thoughts are not our own, they belong to time, none of it is ours, itâs just the means of communication. But whatâs hidden, the unconscious, when attention is there, the deeper recesses light up and awareness of that gives us the ability to not react from fragmentation(brokenness) or conflict. Itâs meditative to learn ourselves, and what you are conveying is the language of getting to know ourselves. Nothing gained, nothing lost, simply the natural movement of wisdom growing from the seed of life. When we live with those motions, we see how vital and precious that energy is and the vibes emanating from and through this physical form. The fear is in being consumed by that omnipotent energy, thoughts are merely a distraction to move away from the fact that peace is ever-present, itâs frightening to realize there are no real problems(only the ones we create). No one wants to be alone with that pervading wave, that would be the end of all things.
This definitely brings back thoughts of remembering we are here to channel energy. I legit forget to remember thingsâŚjust to remember to forget them.like I canât for the life of me consistently remember that the life I am living is a sliver of a memory of my everlasting soul. That no matter whats happening in this microcosm that is our galaxyâŚâŚits still all good. The darkness (since getting to know it) has been so inviting, yet my physical form consistently reminds me that darkness is being seen and labeled as many other namesâŚ.that I fall for believing fear is the correct headspace even though the universe is constantly affirming my existence. Shits wild sonetimes.
We forget because energy isnât memory, self-image(avatar) is memory, and in this physical realm, the material world, focus and importance is placed on that projection, the image, and we are making the image. Itâs a trip. We are the energy weâre channeling, itâs all in that river, itâs just a matter of seeing whatâs what.
Okay so my perception is shifting hereâŚ. so then the best way to emulate the energy is to..listen to/connect with (have a relationship? Whatever way you rock with) your physical form andâŚ.commit to living true to your formâŚ..ahâŚ..okay the river. I see it now. Lol.cool. thanks @knotyourdaddy đ
You donât need to emulate, it is you, from the perception of clearly seeing that it all you, within that, then there is no copying unless it is conforming to something obvious that is a day-to-day task, like self-care, exercise, work(whether self-employed, investor, career). But, yes, listen to and connect with the physical, especially as a woman, because the body carries with it eternal wisdom, it preexisted all form and is in form now from gathering that energy and coming into being on this planet, that is why it is the actual vessel. No need to identify with the body, that is an unnecessary step, just feel it out, read the energy and your own, from womb to yoni, to every one of your movements, as you study yourself in that way and live in that essence of what flows outside and in the river, you tune into that vibe. Vibe with that. Test it out and lmk what it does for your quality of mind and life.
I wouldnât say commit, more so observe. Watch it carefully. Attend to it with an intensity for a few moments and follow what comes next, look into it.
That relationship with self is unlike anything else. Xo đť
It sounds a lil nuts but Iâve been communicatingâŚactually talking to my body as if its entirely separate entity from me? I havenât been meditating like usual but within this particular practice I have been yielding some results. Iâll definitely be experimenting with your version of practice though and let you know. Thanks đ @knotyourdaddy
Meditation is simply the attention you give yourself, with love, even in inattention, and being in attendance with that life within and around you, it requires no practice, it only demands your energy.
Your body is not separate from you, the entity is form in the thought that projects the image of us. Id entity, what we identify with as us(universal self), our persona, that is the collective.
Idk if I can call it my version, lol. Just sharing along the way. đ đđď¸đ¤
Hmmm đ¤ okay so then maybe my Intuition is whats causing me to see things differentlyâŚ.or my imagination is wilder than I thoughtâŚ.or Iâm embracing a language that only im aware of as far as the connection I have with my vessel. Either way, itâs all very interesting. Thank you once more for your insight đđż @knotyourdaddy
