View from the hill, early October.
[ID: a photo of pale calming blues, friendly welcoming cerulean blues, and frothy warm white. ocean waves turning into jumbling spray and then seafoam as they roll close into the unseen shore. in the distance are large protruding rock islands against a horizon of faded, almost invisible, mountains with a sky full of large, fluffy, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. the colors of the entire image are soft and muted and make a calming, happy, scene.]
Photographer Gunarto Song captured a remarkable photo of a meteor falling “into” a volcano ( Mount Merapi, the most active volcano in Indonesia), and the resulting shot looks like there’s a green beam of light shooting up from the crater. (SOURCE)
