jade leech x reader / implied drugging. not proofread. 580-ish words.
Overplayed song on the portable radio, sand in your hair and a glaze of sea foam in your glare, you aren't quite sure how long you've been holding onto each other for. ♡
Jade, sweet, oh so kind Jade, who graciously offered you a day out of campus. A calm day at the beach, he said. He'd bring all of the necessities, he said. And that, he did. He was a perfect gentleman as well as a perfect lover; a basket in his hands, he appeared in front of your dorm not a minute late and distorted each of your inquiries without a wave.
Arrived at the shore, on the opposite side of the buzzing port and its countless boats, words died on the tip of your tongue, washed over by excitment. Oh, he wouldn't mock that serendipity, don't worry Darling. Yes, he is smiling wide like a predator but it's with adoration he looks at you, not hunger.
So you both sat on a towel and sorted out his accessories : a radio, courtesy he borrowed from the lounge, you think, and different dishes packed so neatly you grimaced at the thought of opening them.
You asked about the dessert, he grinned and said your scent was sweet. You decided to turn on the radio instead.
The melody was slow and gentle like the wind, accompanying the flick of his wrist when he brushed off your hair or the subtle taste of his fingers when he decided to hand feed you.
At some point, though, you pushed away, stood up to your feet and a with a bubble of laughter, pulled him in, you hoped he'd crash into you but you're pretty sure you were the one to break your lips onto his like a tidal wave.
His hands found your hips, strong and composed; he took this opportunity to play maestro and guide you to his rythm.
You, sweet, oh so naïve you, who graciously accepted Jade's offer for a day out of campus. He relished in that vulnerability, your unguarded trust felt both like a blessing and a taunt, prettier than the brighter pearl any pirate would prey on, really.
"Do you like this song ?" Graceful Jade asked to dear you. Side-step, comfortable lead, you followed. Front step, hips sway.
You did, you liked this song, so you nodded. It was romantic, it was tender, it made your heart flutter with half irrealistic scenarios of marin waltzes. Oh, those daydreams couldn't compare with him, though. At least he'd make sure of that.
He spoke again, sweet nothings, saccharine, honeyed, stickily dripping with temptation, charming musings. You didn't reply, you couldn't hear what he said. Had the wind gotten stronger, the sea gotten wilder ? Because your ears are buzzing and all you can focus on is the salty scent perfuming the air and the fond way he made you swing on the sun-warm sand.
Cold air kissing your skin, it felt nice, but it didn't ease the heat rising from your abyss. You look up, lips parted, eyes wide like shells, but Jade disappeared from sight. You could only see a blurry but hypnotising figure. It's what sailors saw as they're being lured by false songs, you would confidently say, if your thoughts and mind didn't all dissolve, worse than sand castles on a rainy day.
Your knees felt as weak as your resolve... no, surely you had no resolve to begin with, why else would you have accepted this outing, Darling ? Jade is sure you aren't that silly. Nevertheless, you rolled against his chest and closed your eyes,
Succumbing to the siren's chant, rocking with a disharming slimy gentleman instead.
