It would be a lie to say that Samantha had grown used to seeing his face everywhere. He had done it. He got out of their small town just like he wanted, and she was here…like she had wanted. She didn’t have to leave to make something of herself. She was a very loved music teacher to every one of her students, and a loving mother to a curly headed four year old baby girl.

But no matter how used she was to seeing his face plastered on billboards, magazines, and tv screens, it did not prepare her to actually seeing him. She was bent over playing with Olivia when she heard his voice. The voice that still caused her heart to feel as if it was going to leap from her chest. She looked over at him, shocked to see him standing there. His name managed to escape from her lips. Four years. Four long years had passed..and here he was standing in front of her. “What are you doing here?” Why was he here?

Four years had passed since he had been back home. Everything seemed to had changed but he knew one thing had stayed the same. Samantha. Matthew didn’t want to leave her behind but.. he had to if he wanted to do something with his life and he had. He had became one of the biggest upcoming actors. With his career taking off, he needed a break and thought it would be nice to come back home for awhile. 

Matthew hoped that Samantha was visiting her favorite coffee shop even though she never seemed to drink the coffee there. He approached the coffee shop and saw Samantha inside. She was just like he remember aside from the pink hair. He was intrigued by the child she was playing with. The little girl looked around the age of four. Was he the father? It was possible if he was right about her age. Opening the door to the coffee shop, he approached Samantha. “Who knew that you would look so good with pink hair?” Matthew exclaimed with a smirk. “I’m visiting, of course. It’s been awhile. Too long, don’t you agree?” There was more to the reason than just visiting but he didn’t tell her that. “Still wasting money on those drinks?”
