Sorry this took me so long to get to, dear viewer! In truth, I didn’t understand the prompt very well, so it sat in my inbox for fear of messing it up. However! I will try my very best to deliver something good for you!
Mr. Puzzles isn’t quite sure how to navigate your shyness at first. He’s a rather bombastic fellow, so when you give him very little to bounce off of, it’s like doing crowd work with a brick wall.
He just desperately wants to see you open up! Get you to give him a laugh- even a breathy chuckle will do!
Once he realizes that maybe his height is intimidating you, he starts bending down much more often to speak to you. Crouching or taking a knee. Sure, it allows him less movement for his showy mannerisms, but at least you start to open up to him!
And goodness, when you finally work up the courage to speak to him, Mr. Puzzles is over the moon. He did it! It felt like a Herculean task, but he finally did it!
Then, you absolutely stun lock him with a simple confession: you think his faces are cute. Cute? You? Find him cute? In spite of his massive ego, it actually gets to him quite a bit. He wants you to say it more; more than he’d ever like to admit.
So, round and round you go. Mr. Puzzles cracking away at your shy exterior and you slowly revealing more and more of yourself to him. He’d never admit it, but the first time he hears your giggle he most definitely needed to hide a blushing EKG line darting across his CRT. Likely a mistake on his part, given he’d adore your reaction to that as well.
Before either of you realize it, you’re as thick as thieves. There’s practically no moment where Mr. Puzzles is missing from your side, and your walls are all but forfeit to him and him alone. Now reacting to him without a care in the world, chatting happily about media and gushing over his different expressions. And Mr. Puzzles? He’d say the ache in his spine from constantly bending over was well worth it to have you: his most dearest star.
hihi!! making this blog to document some of my writing for the first time!! I’ve never really posted this kind of thing before so please excuse any deviation from norms as I learn my way ;;w;; of course everything will still be fully and appropriately tagged tho!
Right now most things will be oneshots or otherwise short bits with no current continuous plan. I tend to write a mix of fluff and more explicit content, but sometimes I’ll just be experimenting with making lore sound cool :^) At this point it’ll primarily be fanfic with canon x y/n in the 1st person. I may branch into 3rd person OCxOC at times, even some CanonxOC, but I likely won’t write canon ships at this time because I’m too worried about messing up lore 😭 we’ll see! Not sure how many people care for others’ OC content so I’d love to know the general opinion ^^;
I’m a huge hoyo fan, most prominently star rail and zenless! Sunday, Ashveil, Yukong, and Harumasa are some of my favs. That said, my first writing will definitely be based on Salvus: Aries, a new otome game by Rosemilk Studios that’s currently in early access! Expect Seir content soon,,,

Hello, dear viewers! It’s been a while, huh? Thank you all so much for continuing to read my fics while I’ve been recovering! I see all your likes, and it warms my heart to know they’re still enjoyed while I’ve been gone. I figured with the announcement of the new Mr. Puzzles show, it’d be a good time to address you all about No Business Like Show Business!
Do I want to continue writing it? Yes.
Am I up to writing it yet? Not quite, but I’m getting close!
Will it be as regular as it was? Most likely no.
I know the chapters weren’t exactly lengthy, but with my condition still present, I don’t think I can keep up with the promise of it happening monthly. And my fear of not being able to keep up has kept me from writing it at all, which is no good! I love NBLSB, and I want to tell the story I’ve come up with! So, with that in mind, I hope to keep writing it on a sporadic basis. Perhaps with other fics in between! I love a lot of different things, after all.

I saw his announcement as well. While I never really watched SMG4 and only took interest in Mr. Puzzles’ story, SMG4 has much to be proud of! Many years of storytelling and laughs told through passionate projects; nobody can deny that it’s an impressive and admirable feat! I hope he finds happiness and success in his other ventures. Perhaps he’ll make something for Glitch! Who knows, but either way, I’m sure he’ll do great things.

Oh, yes, dear viewer! I know the show is not ending- it’s simply our dear Mr. Puzzles who has taken his final bow. I found Mr. WPNZ cool, but I don’t think he’ll show up in NBLSB. He doesn’t really fit into the outline I have for the story, so unfortunately you won’t see him in this universe. But, he is a very cool fellow!

I wouldn’t say Mr. Puzzles necessarily sleeps in the strictest sense of the word, I like to believe he’s essentially just ‘resting his eyes’ for lack of a better term. Close by you, simply enjoying your silent, sleeping company.
However, this also means he’s aware of any shifts or changes in your unconscious demeanor. So, if he sees that you’re having a particularly bad nightmare, he’ll attempt to comfort you. Holding you close, whispering to you to try and comfort your subconscious.
Though, if that doesn’t help, he will wake you up. Is that always the best choice? No, but Mr. Puzzles tends to jump the gun when he feels you’re afraid or in trouble.
He’s be there to listen if you wanted to talk, nodding along and asking small questions or commenting on the dream’s topics. Or, if you didn’t even want to speak about it, he’d be your shoulder to cry on. Sitting with you as long as you need, holding you or giving desired distance by going and making you a nice warm drink. After all, warm drinks always seemed to work in the movies.
If you didn’t want to go back to sleep, you could always watch movies or TV! He has plenty of ones he always wants to show you and talk about, and he could ramble for hours.

When you first get sick, Mr. Puzzles tries to act nonchalant about it. It would be fine! You likely just had some little stomach upset or allergies from the season- nothing would go wrong…! It’d be over by the end of the day and you two could get up to your usual hijinks and chicanery.
Except, it didn’t go away. Through the night you had chills, teeth chattering as your pajamas and sheets were soaked with a cold sweat. You felt like you were on fire. Now Mr. Puzzles was scared— what should he do? This wouldn’t be one of those ‘sick partner passes on from mysterious, unnamed coughing illness’ tropes, would it? But you hadn’t even recorded a video tape in pure white clothing frolicking in the backyard…!
He would stay up with you the whole night through, fetching cold compresses for your head and cups upon cups of water to stay hydrated. Getting you fresh clothes when yours were too sweaty to possibly be comfortable- even remaking the bed if need be. Anything to keep you some semblance of comfortable.
Mr. Puzzles would put some of your favorite movies and TV shows on the TV in your shared room— decidedly not using his own head to do so, so he can keep you proper company. Where you may be too hoarse or delirious to talk, he would commentate with a worried, shaking voice on different facts and tidbits about the media.
The man would be racking his brain for different information he’d gathered from medical dramas or documentaries. Even making a late night run for local honey to soothe your aching throat and also help any allergies you may have for the season.
He would never make you feel embarrassed or ashamed of any symptoms, helping you with whatever you would possibly ask for. He simply wanted you healthy and well. Mr. Puzzles would spend most of his time curled around you in attempts to comfort you, if he wasn’t getting you anything, of course.
Essentially: he’d put aside his ego while you’re ill. He cares about you far too much to kick up any trouble at home or elsewhere. If he lost you? He didn’t even want to think of the man he would become.
Once you’re better he would practically cry in relief. Absolutely overjoyed that your shared story could continue onward. After all, you both had so much more to create, do, and experience; all at each other’s sides.
