I love settings where a group of friends-turned-family use an old, often decommissioned, combat vehicle to get around and do business (often cargo hauling or bounty hunting)
The world I imagine here is meant to be optimistic. The people rebuilding, learning and growing.
But it doesn’t ignore human sorrow to focus on joy. That should be obvious from some–many, really–of the quotes and even a few of the images.
Pining, heartache, loving, living, growing.
Traders and wandering travelers. Townsfolk and defenders. Pirates and marauders.
The Old World collapsed from their greed, and though the older generation tried to learn from that and pass on those lessons, greed is still a natural human failing.
So the people of this world struggle through. A constant background struggle of greed versus charity; of love and loss, of living and surviving.
A world of “Let me help you”, of “You don’t have to be alone”.

I've been doing a little thinking about characters for this setting, and after a few posts on Main about my old--since my mid teens--OCs, I've decided to include them here as... I guess part of the "story" these Images and Text posts hint-at/tell.
So, I am pleased to introduce Jason and Jaina Devaro; twins in their late twenties--unless stated otherwise--who took separate journeys once old enough to leave home, though always trying to send each other letters.
(Yes, they are named for Jacen and Jaina Solo from Legends, Han and Leia's twins)
Feel free to send them asks, as while most of their backstory will be the same--as best I can recall--from back when I made them, plenty of it will be changed to fit After The Fall. (tag: The Devaros)
I suppose now would also be a good time to point out ATF is science-fantasy/low-fantasy, meaning their is tech is "modern" if scrounged--giving it a "Firefly"/"Cowboy Bebop" feel I hope--while having some "magic".
(I will state now that this is not twincest. Romantic quotes and scenes aren't between them, but between one of them and an unnamed other.)
