ok yes it’s true ‘mom friend’ and ‘girlboss’ also suck but this is specifically about the nightmare that is dudebro fans looking at every woman in a story like she’s gonna come to life and be his real life loyal housewife. like the implication is that, regardless of the medium of the story, somehow they see this as a dating sim where they choose who their fave is and project romantic fantasies onto her, acting as if they are in any way a part of this fictional world and she could ever love them back. it is the art of ranking every female character by appearance and cute girl tendencies and pitting them against each other. like boy she’s not your domestic girlfriend she is pixels and also she’s too busy fighting for her life inside the hell dimension aren’t you interested in the story

I’ve been following this webtoon since shortly after it’s release and I just read the ending today. It’s a beautiful story and the artwork is gorgeous. I’m sad to see it go but I’m thankful for all of @instantmiso’s hard work! Thank you for such a great story! 💙🤍💙

what if instead of paying companies to delete our info off of databases periodically we like. idk. passed a law that said companies couldnt do that anymore. and set up some kind of task force to disband all the companies that do that. thatd be cool

While it’s not really passing a law that says companies can’t do that anymore and it’s kinda just a bandaid on a wider issue, well, at least you can have the government ‘pretty please’ data brokers instead of paying a probably shady company sponsoring every YouTuber under the moon?

In any case, starting 1 August 2026, data brokers will have to delete your data within 90 days.
