REBLOG IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH JUMPING AROUND IN THREADS/PLOTS. sometimes it can take ages to get from point a to point b and half the fun is the journey. but sometimes it fun to explore different aspects of a plot. flashfowards, flashbacks, parts of the plot you have discussed but haven’t reached yet. It’s so fun to explore every part of a plot and have multiple threads in different places in a plot. Or sometimes different memes you sent/receive may not fit the point in the plot you are at right now, but fit a flashback or flashfoward. So reblog if you are okay with having different threads in different points in the plot.

“No, I think… you, you’re the only one who’d actually dare. This might be news to you, but agents actually respect me, fear me even.” A little snort as she leveled jestful hazel eyes with her friend’s. She commanded strike teams, lead men and women into war, jumped off building with the confidence that someone would be there to catch her. She suffered in silence, showed affection in secret —she had an image to keep as a stoic, vindictive, badass leader, not someone other agents could joke around with. Susan, however, saw past that, their relationship went beyond the confinements of the DEO and she was grateful for that, to have a person (outside Kara’s circle of friends) she could trust, that actually cared enough to make her smile and try to improve her mood. “How does a little bet sound? Maybe some… darts?” She almost suggested pool, but it reminded her too much of Maggie and she knew that would throw off her skill. No, she wanted to win.
Susan settled back, a smug smile finding it’s way onto her features as she eyed the auburn haired woman across from her with no small amount of amusement—or personal satisfaction. “Then I fear that they should all get sent back for retraining,” she said lightly, smile twisting into a broad, toothy grin in response, “Because if secret agents who gather intelligence can’t seem to realize that you’re not someone to fear unless they’re planning on turning traitor, then that’s on them. Otherwise...I’m terribly afraid to say that you’re all bark. No offense.” Well...Alex was mostly bark, Susan knew, but sometimes just needling the other agent was more than amusing. Though sometimes it has been known to blow up in her face quite spectacularly. Either way, at the end of the day, spending time with Alex always proved to be amusing as well as fun. Like all good friends do. “Oh, I’ll play darts. But there is no way I’m betting on it. I’m bold...not stupid. I like my money right where it’s at, and making bets against you in darts is a very good way to lose it,” Susan countered, draining the rest of her beer.
“You know, you’re pretty comfy.”
some meme, probably // @marsdin
It took a moment for her words to register to Susan, nearly asleep herself beneath the other woman. Humming softly as she fought through the fog in her head, the agent lifted her head to look at her with a small, lazy smile. “You’re pretty comfy yourself, Liv,” she murmured softly in return, lifting her hand to gently brush a strand of her hair from her face.
leadershiipskills:
“Good thinking,” she agreed putting the other tie back into the rack. “With black uniforms, at least we never have to worry about matching or standing out in a crowd… I can’t remember the last time I wore anything that wasn’t dark.” She looked down at what she was wearing: black leather jacket, grey shirt, dark blue jeans. “I could use the cleaning kit, but I do predict that about 70% of the presents will be gift cards to places that none of us will ever actually go to,” she laughed. “He was transferred into the new facility after we caught McGill the Mole. You getting paranoid?”
Snorting loudly, Susan nodded along with her agreement. Dark colors blended in, that was true. But really, the agent was willing to bet it had more to do with most of them being recruited straight from the military, where dark colors and uniformity ran rampant. “I wore a white t-shirt the other day. And I felt like I was sticking out, but it may have been the fact that I was going to visit my mom for a lunch where we needed to talk,” she said with a shrug, knowing she wasn’t exactly arguing the case well, “Don’t tell her I said that.” Not that Alex would really ever have any reason to make contact with any of Susan’s family—likely only in case of serious injury or death—but she felt she needed to cover her bases anyway. “Of course I’m paranoid. I'm military intelligence. It doesn’t just go away. Doesn’t help that it’s also what I get paid to do at work,” she said with a wry smile, tilting her head to give her a teasing smile “It’s not just me telling you what to do over comms—even if that’s a full time job all by itself.”

pulling a face, alex gives the cup up willingly. where’s the fun in liberating susan of her coffee if the brew has her stomach turning with every sip? instinctively chasing after the fleeting brush of lips against her own, she opts to wrap her arms around the brunette’s midsection instead, already a new objective in mind. “no, thank you,” she hums, walking them back to lean against the counter in the exact spot susan had only just vacated, “i’m good.” a lazy smile spreading across her lips and affection pooling in her gaze, alex slips her thumbs under the hem of her susan’s shirt to draw comforting circles over tan skin. “i’m good right here.” one glance at clock tells her that they have exactly one hour and fifteen minutes until they are needed at the deo; fresh-faced and focused. groaning internally, she lets her head drop to susan’s shoulder, nose pressing against the side of her neck. “will it be too obvious, if we both call in sick?” she rasps, inhaling the scent of the brunette’s shower gel and pressing a kiss to the skin below her collarbone.
Bumping against the counter had Susan’s eyebrows jumping up her forehead, but ultimately had her relaxing and dragging her eyes down the column of her throat. She was more than happy to continue what they were doing, with the teasing touches and the soft purring voices as they basked in the morning routine. Chuckling softly, Susan brushed her fingers around and up the line of her spine, smiling lazily as the cloth bunched around her wrist. She didn’t want to even bother trying to disentangle herself for at least another ten minutes. She was warm and surprisingly comfortable, tucked against the other agent and soaking up her presence. “Mmm...I don’t think it would be all too obvious,” she murmured, head twisting to press her lips to the warmth of her neck as well, practically purring at the softness that she was getting to enjoy, “Not until one of us inevitably daydreams around J’onn, anyway. Because I know I’m not going to be able to stop thinking about you after getting to experience you like this.”
onlesabesoins:
Exhaling softly, Alex smiled and sipped her whiskey, the taste strong and heavy in her mouth. At first, she drank whiskey because it was the easiest way to get drunk, but she learned to like it. Now, Alex appreciated the smoky flavor of the liquid, and all too often the side effects. “It’s not bad.” Alex replied softly. “It’s natural and…” She shrugged not really knowing what to say. “But it’s not bad.” Alex leaned into Susan’s kiss, her tongue dueling with the other agent’s tongue. She wasn’t sure what was going to happen when they left the safety of the bar, but all she wanted right now was to do this with Susan. When her vision began to grey because of the lack of oxygen, she pulled away and reached for her drink, downing what was left. She smiled softly at Susan, pressing her hand against her cheek, rubbing soft circles before getting to her feet. “Once you’re finished your drink, we’re going to get you home and I’ll change the bandages for you. And you’re going to take some pain killers.” She gave Susan a smile and leaned in for another kiss.
Susan smiled warmly around the mouth of her bottle, lifting it as she draws in a slow drink. She was relaxed—as much as she could be, as turned on as she currently was—and conversation with Alex always proved scintillating. “Of course it’s natural. The animal kingdom is full of same-sex pairings,” she said quietly, reaching out to brush her hand along her arm, “Besides...morality and right and wrong are totally human concepts. Concepts of higher thought and superiority complexes.”
When Alex drew away, well after her lungs began burning for air, Susan slowly blinked her eyes open to look at her. Yep. Susan was well and truly screwed. But she was more than happy to be so, if this was what she got. And boy, was it definitely addicting. So when they sat back to take the time to just breathe in and recenter themselves. “So I’ll have bandages that looks like a professional instead of a ten year old did them. Awesome,” she said, taking another slow pull of her beer before simply tipping her head up and kissing her as she leaned back in. And Susan just parted her lips and gave Alex access to whatever she wished, groaning quietly into her mouth.
pinpilinpaux:
“You know, us Kryptonians don’t usually have to worry about these things. We just get married off to whoever we’re told is more compatible and be done with it.” Kara did love the romanticism of it all, but she also missed the certainty that there was someone she was compatible with and she’d just get to them once their age was appropriate. Much less complicated, really. “I’ll have to tease Alex a lot then, especially since even I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Kara had half a mind to ask if Susan was making it up, but she doubted she was. Sometimes she could be oblivious to her own feelings. “I’d say we’re all a little competitive, but I doubt that’ll convince you to come. We do have loads of food, though! And we’re fun.”
“It sounds so much more efficient than dating,” Susan said dryly, lips twitching up into a small smile, “I know I’ve been on some doozies. And sometimes, I think they’re going amazing, and then clothes come off a few dates later, and the leg scares them off. Or the secrets.” All in all, it sounded like a great system to find one’s match without all the heartbreak and nerves. But every system has it’s flaws, and Susan was sure that one was no exception. “You know...I’m not the person that will talk you out of teasing Alex. I find teasing Alex is always an acceptable course of action and it should always be followed,” the agent said with a small laugh before humming quietly, “You know what? I think I will. I’ll even bring come tacos and guac for everyone. Buy my victory. How’s that sound?”
Hard times don’t create heroes. It is during the hard times when the ’hero’ within us is revealed. A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.

the uncoordinated scrape of fingernails over bare skin earns alex a more positive reaction than she could’ve ever imagined. that sound, she needs to hear it again and again and again, in all its guttural glory. and she hates herself a tiny little bit for suggesting they take this elsewhere when susan actually heeds her words and pulls away. stumbles after the lost warmth with a slight pout like she’s never had any dignity to begin with. which, taking the soft mewl that trips past her lips at the loss of contact into consideration, doesn’t seem far fetched at all. their linked hands create the only anchor point between them as susan leads her down the hall and to alex’s one-track mind it seems almost cruel. she’s never felt this touch-starved in her life. stepping far into the brunette’s personal space, she rests her forehead against the side of susan’s head and brushes a faint kiss over her shoulder as she watches the other agent fumble with her keys. it’s a more affectionate gesture than the situation warrants but self-control is a thing of the past and alex’s feelings may extend far beyond mere attraction. but all probability aside, her hand easily slips from susan’s grasp the moment they cross the threshold. there’s only so much her compromised mind can process at once. and that apartment… wow. jaw slacking, her lips part in awe at the setup. her own place seems like an unloved shoe-box in comparison. eyes tracing the swoop of the piano’s case, alex’s throat bobs with a thick swallow at the kiss that’s being pressed to her skin, the muscles of her abdomen jumping under the unexpected touch while she remains still otherwise (it’s probably a bad thing that she could get used to this; is getting used to this). there’s a bruise forming at the bottom of her spine where her glock had been digging into her back earlier, alex can feel it when susan slides the gun free to set it aside but she doesn’t care. not when the brunette’s arms circle her waist once more and her mouth resumes it’s place against her neck. not when she kind of hopes that it won’t be the only one. “affirmative…” alex stumbles out, eyes threatening to flutter shut. turning in susan’s hold, her hands lift to frame the brunette’s jaw, guiding her chin upwards to connect their lips once more. the kiss is slower, less desperate than the ones preceding it and despite everything, alex still finds herself with the need to counterbalance that. one hand steady on the other agent’s hips she walks her backwards until susan’s shoulderblades connect with the door, allowing their bodies to fuse together once more. it’s not bad. though she’d really prefer the couch.
It seemed as though surprising noises weren’t only slipping through Susan’s lips, if Alex’s soft noise was anything to go by. And Susan wanted to see what other uncharacteristic noises she could get from the auburn-haired woman as the night progressed. Because normally, Alex was composed and unflappable—a trademark badass woman—and no small part of Susan as intent on seeing the woman Alex was without that particular mantle. So of course she pressed against her back to nose her reddish hair aside and press a series of slow, soft kisses along her skin as she cradled her close to her body. Then Alex was turning and framing her face with her hands, and Susan found a small smile quirking her lips for the brief, fraction of a second, before Ales’s mouth was on her’s again and she was sweeping her hands up into her hair to press into her kiss with a pleased hum. Only for that soft hum to change into a throaty moan as her back hit her door. Susan wasn’t about to be a passive participant, though, parting her lips to deepen the kiss and slide her tongue into the other woman’s mouth, unable to stop the moan from slipping into her mouth as their tongues twisted together. She could still taste traces of whiskey on Alex’s tongue and it sent a thrill down her spine and a craving deep in her gut. And once more, Susan Vasquez found herself wanting more; wanting as much as Alex would give her. How could she not? Hand brushing slowly down her back where it had landed when the lithe woman had turned in her arms, Susan slid her hand down over her ass to pull her hips in tightly against her own, luxuriating in the feeling of her body pressed tightly against her own while they exchanged unhurried kisses. Finally, pulling away, Susan blinked her eyes open to look at her with a hazy smile, pupils completely and utterly blown as she sucked in a deep—and completely necessary—breath against her lips. And she couldn’t help but brush the hand not holding her close up to brush through her hair then down the side of her neck to push her jacket from her shoulder, head dipping down to kiss the curve of her neck with a small smile. “Let me take your coat,” she joked, voice rough and lips tingling as they brushed over her smooth skin, “Then show you my furniture.”
