+8 Came to the Tower.
“That’s a good point, probably the first option though. I haven’t been drinking which is good on my part, unless you’re coming to tell me that I’m not raising enough tabloids money for SHIELD anymore.”
"So you're telling me that the infamous Tony Stark's become somewhat tamed?"
+ halleyoswald
"Clyde Allens," he extended a hand, warm smile upon his lips, "Nice to meet you."
+ impossible--clara
"Well, hello there. Don't believe we've ever met before. The name is Clyde, anything you need help with?"
After wandering the city for an hour or so, Natalia was hungry and a café sounded like a good idea. That was the cover story, at least.
In truth, she was in New York doing some research on S.H.I.E.L.D., and she’d heard that some of the agents had been spotted occasionally at this café. Walking in and seeing only one man there was a bit of a disappointment, but she could make the best of it.
She approached the man’s seemingly sleeping figure with light, nearly silent footsteps. Even managed to get a peek at the screen of his laptop before he noticed her. Not enough to make sense of anything there, but it was something, at least.
“Oh, sorry about that. I didn’t mean to startle you.” She said, her voice smooth and accentless. She offered a small smile to him, shaking his hand firmly. “Pleasure to meet you as well.”
He found it a little odd how he hadn't heard her approach until she was nearly behind him. Maybe he was a little more fatigued than he had previously thought. He also was never that attentive to his surroundings anyway.
Words were his business, not that secret agent shtick S.H.I.E.L.D. specialized in.
"Can I ask for your name, miss?" Clyde said with a firmer smile, the shakiness from his initial scare dribbling off.
The laptop whirred on in the background and he diverted his attention for a moment, lowering the screen a bit. Top secret information, right. He had to keep that protected lest he wanted Fury blowing a gasket.
Sleep. He needed sleep. He was already losing it.

Eureka sighed sitting on her bed after finishing the book about sting rays they almost looked like Skyfish. She looked once seeing a stranger infront of her in the hall “can I help you?”
"Hi," he coughed into his hand, fingers threading through his short dark locks. "Sorry for disturbing you Thurston, but I've been meaning to ask...Do the Coralians have a language that's specific to them?" He had always been a little curious, and, well, curiosity was a very powerful thing in the world.
+8 Came to the Tower.
“So are you some kinda not-so-secret spy? I don’t really remember doing something completely eccentric lately.”
"I think you've watched one too many spy movies, Mr. Stark."
"Would 'eccentric' be relative to your day-to-day activities or relative to a civillian's."

"This would be the first time I'm meeting you. Hi, the name's Clyde. You would be...?"
+ littlelostbluejay
"Hello! This is a surprise; need anything?"
+8 Came to the Tower.
“Noted. Clyde huh? What brings you to Stark Tower, because you look like you belong to SHIELD. Let’s just say Fury doesn’t exactly enjoy my company because always someone ends up drinking when I go over to HQ.”
"Would that 'someone' be you considering your habits and all."
"Anyway, just here visiting. You could say that S.H.I.E.L.D. likes keeping their eyes on you, even if those eyes are human."
“It appears you are already aware of my given name.” Emerald irises flickered with restrained suspicion as the lithe mischief maker jauntily approached the slightly shorter individual. The fashion in which the mortal shifted his weight certainly did not pass uncollected from the encompassing vision of the god, as with centuries of development his skill for observing the tells of another had heightened to a pinnacle.
“Will you not then humor me and divulge your own?” Loki halted when he had succeeded a preferred distance, weathered leather creaking as healed boots planted his figure firmly in position. The gaunt visage of the Jotun adopted a skeletal structure as shadow plated the planes below cheekbones, chin rising several notches and releasing raven locks to dust thrusting, bony shoulders swathed in dark fabric.
He chewed on his lip, ignoring the way his heart sped up sounded in his ears, drowning out his thoughts. The god's gaze was a bit too knowing, a bit too analytic than he would have preferred. He felt transparent. Bare. As if who 'Clyde Allen' was had been laid out for all the world to see.
The piercing quality was more than enough to make him uncomfortable.
A little not-smile, "Clyde. You can call me Clyde."
He considered ending it there. Loki didn't seem to be wanting a confrontation and so long as Clyde made it perfectly clear that he wasn't here to provoke a fight, he had a chance of backing out of it unscathed.
Still, a closer look at the would-be ruler sent ripples of unease through him. This time, it was because the god looked just a little sickly from his point of view. Exhausted as if a wink of sleep wasn't the norm for him. "Are you...Are you alright, there? You look like you're about to collapse."
“Probably not. But here I am.”
"I'd be more than happy to direct you to the nearest exit considering that probability of you having entered from a point other than the conventional door is quite high."
+8 Came to the Tower.
“Weird, how exactly do you know my birth date?”
“Wait nevermind, everyone in New York knows it. Who are you again?”
"I'm Clyde. Clyde Allens, sir- ah, Mr. Stark. We have never met nor have I introduced myself previous to this, so relative to that, your 'again' would be wrong," he babbled before he could stop himself. "And everything I've just said is irrelevant."
“Karami Kalen, pleasure t’ meetcha, Clyde.” The redhead beamed, giving the male a pat on the shoulder. “Don’t look so tense. I don’t bite.”
"If I had a nickel for every time I heard that," he chuckled lightly, straightening his fingers and dropping his hands to the side. He had been picking at them; he had to kick that nervous habit one day. "Anyway, the pleasure's all mine, Karami. Hey, this might seem a little odd, but where are you from? I've never heard that kind of name before."
