Welcome to this blog. I really like DIO's lackeys (but mainly the Egypt 9 Glory Gods) but i couldn't find many blogs dedicated to them. So since I was bored... well, why not making a confession blog dedicated to them + DIO himself?

and so i created it.

this blog will be mostly dedicated to, as said before, DIO's lackeys, Egypt 9 Glory Gods and DIO himself. it will be also accepted asks related to spin-offs they appear on.

you can call me kyo or camus, my main blog is @surfacemaiden and i am the admin of this blog. the rules for this blog are:

Confessions need to be related to those characters;

If your confession has any sort of sensitive content (blood, sexual content), please make sure to keep a CW at the beginning of the ask (i will tag it anyways);

I'm still a bit indecisive about NSFW... but more suggestive asks are okay, keep in mind everything will be properly tagged. if you don't want to see them, please block the tags #cw suggestive and #nsft;

As mentioned before, spin-offs that involve these characters (for example Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak) are completely allowed, go for it!

For now, that's all. I also ask for you to be patient in case I don't post the confession quickly, I am often busy with college. But other than that, have fun~

some miscellanious d'arby brothers hcs if it's allowed here:

» going off of the CDDH mention, i think Terence met DIO when he was around 16-17 (roughly 1984 when DIO got saved, or a few months after in early 1985), thus being one of the first few of his minions next only to Enya and probably Vanilla Ice. Daniel meets DIO in mid 1986.

» the D'arbys are from Louisiana and of Cajun descent, but moved to the West Coast area sometime in their childhood. Daniel can still fluently speak and hold conversations in Cajun french, but Terence never really got to properly learn or speak it outside of their household.

» They're the only stand users in the family, but their stands didn't immediately awaken as children. Osiris and Atum awoke separately when the brothers were 17 and 11 respectively, and that's also the age where they started their own soul collections.

» I don't think they have both parents alive by the time we meet them in canon. I think Mrs. D'arby has been out of the picture for a long time (either by divorce or death), and they don't really talk to their father much (more of a 'they know where to find him, he knows where to look' ordeal). I definitely think that Daniel had a habit of staying away from home for an extended period of time (days, maybe weeks) unannounced just to go gambling. it does turn into a pretty lucrative hustle when he learns how to effectively cheat people out of their money and souls, but it probably took a lot of getting beat up before that. Terence is the one that truly ran away when he became a servant of DIO.

» Following that, Terence has always had a deep seated resentment against Daniel for constantly abandoning and dipping out on him, and that finally blew up when he saw him 'flirting' with his then girlfriend. whether or not Daniel was actually flirting or if Terence was just misinterpreting it, he was already so full of spite towards him anyway and just wanted a reason to beat him up.

I feel like I have a lot more to detail about how I think the brothers' dynamic is like, but i feel like that already crosses over to pure fanfic territory. would elaborate if wanted tho

I think it would’ve been interesting if more agents were teamed up by Dio/Enya themselves. Yeah there’s hol horse and j.geil and oingo and boingo, but 1. Hol Horse was working under J.Geil because he knew they worked well together and 2. Oingo and Boingo are brothers. Of course they wanna stick together.

also talked about this in my selfship blog so i thought it'd be good to warn this in here too. not confession related and i'm sorry but i think i should say that

first of all friendly reminder that k-id is the exact company that Discord teamed up with back in 2025 for the age verification thing and remember what happened? around 70,000 user IDs have been leaked (source1 source2 as examples). i am native from 🇧🇷 and live here, so if i just stop being active either here on in my own blogs, it might be because of this, because i'm NOT handing my ID to a company like this.

"but kyo, it's only for mature content!" another friendly reminder that tumblr has a terrible tagging system that marks anything as mature. hell i've already seen SFW art and even pictures of kittens being marked as mature. this shit will not work AT ALL.

Sometimes I wonder how many of the agents of DIO had fleshbuds and they were just never checked after they were beaten up or died meaning they couldn’t be checked. Considering how loosely DIO was using them (kakyoin, Polnareff, enya, Okuyasus dad, and was about to fleshbud avdol if he never escaped) it makes me wonder if anyone else had fleshbuds minus the ones that were explicitly stated to not have one (grey fly and Daniel if we go off of the flashback Josuke is shown in CDDH)

SCREAMS. I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING FOR AN OINGO BOINGO BROTHERS CENTRIC SPINOFF PLEAAASEEEE. OH MY GODDODODDDDDD

I genuinely think there's potential in the brothers getting a redemption arc of their own (and plenty of the other retired agents too! I mean we have CDDH for Hol Horse, so who's to say no one else can get one)

People cannot change overnight, that much is true... but people do change when, if constantly pressed into doing bad things, they choose to do good instead. In that regard I think a redemption of the brothers involing them realizing that Thoth saying something is going to happen doesn't mean it's going to happen in their favor. They choose selfless ways to fulfill what happens in Thoth even if it seems like it'll be to their detriment at first, but are later rewarded long-term for it! Almost like a reverse of what happened with the random guy that Oingo essentially mugged in the canon arc.

I may perhaps be biased as the self proclaimed Oingo liker but. Still. The thought crosses my mind frequently... the brothers as protagonists in their own story is just compelling to me.

Also, an unrelated addendum: I do hope me coloring the names makes submissions feel more whimsical! We need a bit more color in our lives sometimes. I do wonder how people make rainbow text, though... that always eludes me.

Yo yo. @messedupask-art again. Not a headcanon yap confession this time.

Admittedly the only reason I liked Oingo at all was because I felt bad for my friend who was just RPing as every favored JoJo character at that point (Hol Horse and Boingo) so I just took Oingo to lighten the load. His versatility and lack of any actual characterization beyond the four chapters he appears in made became an instant hit for me after I wrote an arc for him (I really like "lacking in characterization" characters apparently 😭)

Also he's hot. Fuck it all. I really like this guy.

I like it when people expand on the agents of dios stands like adding a bit more based on their already existing abilities. For example a possibility that the D’Arby brothers could use their stands on themselves (while their stands are used with betting and games, I feel if there was an absolutely willing soul they can just take it from their body. Problem is most people would like to keep their soul lmao) and with Daniel specifically being able to sever off body parts of his soul and mold it into whatever he wants not just limited to poker chips since that clay like substance the souls are molded into doesn’t seem like it’s just limited to turning things into poker chips and we’ve seen Daniel have the ability to split souls. Plus the idea he can sever the body parts of his soul to use as clay for whatever also stops him from accidentally ending his own life (downside obviously would be he wouldn’t be able to use or feel the body part he used like he’d lose finger and movement in his fingers or his hand). I always find it interesting especially since these stands only appear once and are never expanded on other than the simple explanations we got and while simple is all some of these guys need, there could also be more and I love hearing what others can think of

With how much hol horse talked about his respect for women and refusing to lay a finger on any lady unless

1. He was in active danger and defending himself against a woman (aka when he was gonna shoot enya)

2. The woman would get hurt if he didn’t physically intervene (the woman with the scorpion in her scarf)

And iirc in the novel(?) version of CDDH it talks about his deceased mother and her being the reason for his respect for women since she gave her life for him by dying during childbirth

With all of this, I do not think he would’ve liked J Geil at ALL if he knew about what he did so either

1. He absolutely hated his guts behind his back and only cooperated cause it was part of the job and if he didn’t he’d get his shit rocked either by enya or J Geil himself since not much Hol can do to actually counter hanged man or justice (evident for the former in the justice arc lmao)

2. He did not know at all about what J Geil did to any of his victims

This could also just be Hol being more developed after the hanged man arc and that later development being more consistent with how he is (considering he was talking about how he just uses women and all his girlfriends in the hanged man arc and that kind of contradicts everything else after that points to his respect for women) but hey it’s fun to think about

makes a lot of sense, i don't think a man that is so respectful to women such as Hol Horse would pair with a rapist/murderer unless if he was pressioned into it.

plus the last part about him saying he used his girlfriends but later changing this might be a retcon i guess tho? i think that's the most logical explanation

This is less of a confession and more like insane mental gymnastics headcanons chained together so bear with me for a bit

So, the Stand is a reflection of the user's soul. That much is obvious. That brings up an interesting implication for people who develop Stands that shapeshift the user themself: body dysmorphia so strong it started reflecting on their soul and manifesting into their Stand.

And so we reach the conclusion that Oingo is likely transgender (and Rubber Soul as well, but this ain't about him 😭)

And come to think of it, Oingo basically has the ability to change his entire body (height, weight, and smell!) and ONLY changes his face? The car segment of that arc is understandable, since he had to do it on the spot, but not the Maxim cafe segment. He had all the time in the world at that time for more than just his face and an apron. Either he's stupid or there's some other reason why he's refusing to change his body, like he already changed it into something he wanted and didn't want to alter it more.

And, it'd also explain the strange insistence of both Oingo and Boingo to call each other "brother" even if siblings just... don't constantly call out their relationship like that. It both solidifies their bond as brothers while also being a gender affirmation thing.
