Since I’m staying up all night for good reason now, I decided to try my hand at the Mr. Brightside / Baby One More Time mashup idea I talked about here. 

It’s kinda sloppy because I’ve never done anything like this before and I’m using Audacity and I had a lot of trouble getting the loops and syncing right and the mixing is obviously off. But some moments are just sublime, like the intro with the underlying guitar riff and how the lines “show me how you want it to be” and “chest now, he takes off her dress now” seem to have almost the exact same melody.
