no new aghâs lab this year makes me sad, but at least i have this unexpected official âprimal feastâ primal beast spray art as compensation and in reference to the upcoming diretide event thatâs subbing for the labyrinth (volvo, how tf am I supposed actually play the game and earn bp shit when the main pvp game modes are too toxically stinky and sweaty to actually bother attempting to get back into it. last time i tried, i had ONE(1) surprisingly good first game where 3/4 teammates were pleasant and we won despite my rustiness while the following two games were garbo and had salty, abusive peeps). when will I crop and use this as an icon for rps??? who knows, but its existence brings me a surprising amount of joy lmaooo
finally, the day of reckoning has come! the unlock conditions have been m e t !

The Flora colossus calmly shut his eyes for a moment as he grunted softly several times in response, and though it was no sound of laughter, it certainly still sounded like the barky being was at the very least slightly amused, especially with that soft smile he maintained the whole exchange. Finally, the large wooden man repeated those three words once more in a low, gravelly voice as he gently shook Akiraâs smaller, softer hand.
â I am Groot... â Currently slightly crouched, the tall tree person placed his other free hand over his harness-adorned chest as he spoke. This time, he actually was introducing himself. After the introduction and handshake, tiny, green glowing orbs began to flow out from his hand and surrounded Akira, tending to any injuries their body had suffered as the luminous particles danced around them, only to seemingly float and fade out of existence once any and all wounds were properly tended to. Sadly, there was nothing that could be done for their clothes, however.
Once that had been taken care of, Groot rose up, helping the human back up onto their feet with just a gentle tug. Sturdy fingers unfurled to let go of their hand, and hovered over to their hair, meticulously and carefully pinching and plucking each and every leaf that had been caught in their hair. Watching and waving his other hand goodbye to every leaf heâd just let float away.
Turning away from them, he began to leisurely lumber off, creating a heavy thump with every step he took. Halting in place for a moment, he turned back to the sage, lowly humming as he motioned with a hand for them to come along, almost as if he wished to guide the Sage somewhere. He remained there, waiting with a patient smile until either Akira followed or made some sort of response to his offer.
When Granâs trying (and failing) to answer an innocently-asked question made by a curious, well-meaning flower person-thing while simultaneously experiencing traumatic flashbacks over the subject of the question, and youâre kinda just... vibing watching the entire airshipwreck unfold.

hopelessness truly clouds my thoughts.....................
âLo, mere mortal(s)! ...And/Or immortal(s)â Whatever rate of mortality you fall under, thatâs not the important part. The real important part is whether you have what it takes to best Aghanimâs deadlier and more mysterious realm for grand prizes?â A voice echoed out before a tall, quad-armed, ungulate-antlered figure blinked into existence. Floating blue flakes of pure arcane gracefully danced around the purple-robed figure before dispersing and seemingly fading out of reality shortly after.
âNot from me, though, no-no.â The figure guffawed at the thought as he stood there, staff of unimaginable power firmly within his grip with a notably large blue gem securely resting at the top, glimmering ever so brilliantly. Though he was a renowned wizard with demigod-like powers, he, like many others, may or may not have fallen victim to the greedy jaws of capitalism. Listen, the path to becoming a Grand Magus came at a steep fiscal cost! Blasted student loans!
âIf you happen to find anything good down there, feel free to take it. But what youâll earn from me is something far better than any gaudy bauble dripping and coated in grotesque monster blood (eugh!) youâll find there!â A four-digit hand rose and balled up in pure conviction while the exuberant mage spoke before it opened up and relaxed. The palm of said hand found itself gently pressed against his chest with closed eyes and a soft mile. The noseless being stood in place, utterly silent for a moment before finally continuing.
â...My respect.â He revealed in a gentle and genuine tone, slowly opening both lids with an even gentler expression. Only to lean in closer, as if to impart the most sensitive of information. Â
âBuuuuut, if youâre feeling generously grateful  â or gratefully generous, whichever one you feel, really â toward Aghanim the âOpportunity-Granterâ over granting you the opportunity to find and reap such amazing rewards, he wouldnât turn down any offerings...â And just like that, he had casually swept the delivery of heartfelt words aside with a grin, almost as if the âbetter treasureâ he had to offer was as insincere as it was cheesy!
 Ahem!
âAnyway...â Straightening out his posture while clearing his throat, he clapped two of his four hands together. Blue sparks of light rubbed out from the friction that briefly ensued before both palms separated, followed by the wiggling of the ancient yet effervescent wizardâs fingers aimed at the floor with a boisterous âShazam!â
 THOOM!
Suddenly, a bright blue ball of light splashed forth at the targeted ground before a peculiar portal rose up. Its blue, wavy rims constantly rotated as it remained open, providing a glimpse of the realm that awaited through; not much could really be made out yet with how blurry it appeared, though.
âDARE. YOU. ENTER: Aghanimâs Kaleidoscape... of the Storm! ...Flipper. Plus more, probably!â The odd tentacle/tendril(?)-stached(???) man floated above with all four arms sprawled out while proudly presenting an entrance to his newest creation.
âLookâ Aghanim the âAmazing Labyrinth Makerâ was far too busy making something that could possibly be the greatest thing heâs ever made â in terms of deadly dungeon-making, at least. In general, however, nothing can hold a candle to Aghanimâs precious baby: Aghanimâs Scepter, no-hohohh!â With adoring eyes, he puckered his lips before gently pressing them against the gem of his self-made and self-named scepter, planting a tender kiss before nonchalantly shifting his focus back like he hadnât just coddled an inanimate object as if it were a sentient being.
âSo, he hasnât gotten around to workshopping the name much, okay?â
cantusecho:
Her optimism wasâŠannoying him? She wasnât expecting someone to suddenly tell her how frustrating it was. However, the teenager simply grinned.
âWhatâs not to be happy about? Everythingâs great!â Hibiki placed her hands behind her back and laughed. âWouldnât you want to be happy too?â
Impeccable. Were all juvenile terrans like this? So...simple-minded. It would be amusing if it werenât so maddening. In all of his time traveling across the cosmos, he had never met a terran like this one before.Â
âBut of course,â The tall alien responded in a calm manner before leaning forward, bringing his pale face closer to the girlâs. âAnd do you know what would make me happy?âÂ
There was a pause. A moment to let the girl attempt to guess before he gave away the answer, maintaining eye contact with those red, glowing eyes of his. Â âIf you could refrain from flapping that orifice of yours for even just a second!â The stare had formed into a glare as he scolded the girl.Â
Why were terrans given such a primitive way to communicate? He loathed having to listen to the revolting moist sounds their mouths made when they spoke. He was even at risk of getting wet sometimes at any point he had to be near the proximity of one while they spoke. So disgusting.
However, an idea sprung into the highlordâs head just then. Perhaps he could attempt to teach this terran something--assuming such a small mind was capable of grasping anything that wasnât sunshine and rainbows, of course. Eugh.Â
â...Would you like to know just how dangerous such naivetĂ© can be for a creature as frail as you are?âÂ
This was either going to be a huge waste of time, or would perhaps prove to be fruitful in dampening her spirits. Hopefully, if this ended up being unsuccessful, he could at least find something out of this that preferably wasnât pure vexation.Â
@cantusecho
âUgh, must you always be so optimistic?â This terran was proving to be even worse than Artanis, and he thought the latter was naive. Seems he shouldâve known better, given how weak the terrans were.
âI find your buoyancy to be extremely grating on my nerves.â If some sort of visual effect were to emit from terrans based on their personalities, then the brightness of this oneâs would pain his eyes to the brink of blindness.
