𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐍 ✴︎ When Keonho messed up in your school project and also scribbled on his face with a permanent marker, you lost your patience and snapped at him.

“Keonhooouhhhhhhhh!!” You sigh and rub your forehead, completely annoyed and frustrated. The scene in front of you was testing your patience.
There sat your lovely boyfriend Keonho, his best friend Seonghyeon and your best friend Sunmi, currently fixing the project that Keonho and Seonghyeon decided to accidentally ruin, and when you told them to not touch it, they tried to “fix it” but ended up messing it up further.
Now Keonho also decided that it was a good idea to draw silly scribbles on his cheek with a black marker which was now not coming off, no matter how hard he scrubbed with a wet cloth.
“Baby~ Relax, there isn't an issue—”
“Sun, shut up.” Sumni instantly shut up and pulled Seonghyeon beside her, knowing you were about to explode. “Keonho. We are going home. We will work on this tomorrow.”
Keonho actually whined when you said that in your strict tone. He knew he would get a scolding right as they would be walking back to their dorm. “Love, but—”
“Now. Ahn Keonho.” Seonghyeon whined this time at your tone, glancing at Keonho to just shut up and follow your lead while Sumni agreed with Seonghyeon. You gather all your bags and head out of Sumni's home, not turning back to see if your boyfriend was following you because you knew he was.
“Don’t be mad.. It’s just a marker stain—”
“A marker stain?! Keonho, it's toxic for your skin! It’s going to leave a stain and irritate your skin! We have a presentation in one day!” You snap, turning back to see his face fall and a small pout appear on his face. “I’ll make it go—” You just shook your head and walked faster on the empty street. You weren’t that mad about the stain but were more mad about him not apologising for the project and the stain.
Keonho physically panicked and ran after you, walking side by side to you with the same whiny voice trying to convince you that it was alright but not a single “I’m sorry”. “Baby, talk to me—”
“Just—be quiet, Keonho if you cannot apologise.” His entire face fell and so did his energy. He hated when you got mad at him because you always participated in his idiocy but seeing you this mad at him broke his heart and made tears sting his eyes.
You felt his energy shift, his face fall and you see the tears in his eyes when you very secretly glanced at him. Your heart twisted in an ugly way, your stomach dropping and you did feel horrible for snapping at your sweet and playful boyfriend.
He stayed silent beside you, walking slower to match your pace with his hands hidden inside his jean pocket, a thing he does to hide his trembling hands. You couldn't see him like that, guilt eating you from the inside.
At last, you simply give up and yank him to the nearest wall, pinning him against it in the empty dead night with no one on the streets. But did you care? No. “You are so stupid, hoe!.” You snap but your fingers brush against the marker stains on his face as you rub on it, seeing some residue stick to your fingers.
Keonho? His heart was going insane as soon as he was pinned on the wall. Seeing you like that, he felt butterflies in his stomach, flowers blooming in his heart as his eyes widened and his head pressed against the wall. “I’m sorry..” His voice came out in a whisper, his palms pressed against his jeans nervously.
He always loved how you took care of him even when you were mad. Warmth spreading all over his body.
“You better be, stupid kid.” You back off and smile secretly, but he caught it. “Don’t laugh at me, love! You scared me to death!” You scoff and start walking again, shaking your head slightly.
“Just learn to apologise then.” You playfully rolled your eyes, shoving your hands inside your jacket but he was quicker than you and grasped your hand in his, interlacing them together. He looked at you with his signature bright smile, the smile you fell in love with.
“Anything for you, love..”
